We visited around 5:30 after a day of hiking the dunes. We made the most of the HH to 6pm. Hefe Suave was excellent as was the Steam Driven grapefruit IPA (seasonal). Couple beers in we enjoyed the Bavarian pretzel, wing sampler and eventually the...pork sandwich. All were good though we were very hungry. Beer is definitely the highlight at this location.More

Busy place for a weeknight which made the service a little slow but not unbearable. Good selection on the menu with some delicious local choices. Save room for the bread pudding.

We chose this restaurant on a whim after arriving in town. We got a nice surprise. Burger was nice but the vegetarian quinoa taco bowl was excellent. They should really bottle their house salsa - I would have taken it home in a heartbeat! It’s...always nice to find a chef who knows how to do something special with a vegetarian dish. This is also a microbrew. Their Mexican style larger was light and tasty. Outdoor eating options, though the street was a little noisy.More

Great beer list, great burgers, great pasta! What more do you need for a simple summer meal? We enjoyed the Blanca Burger, six cheese bacon pasta, and three mushroom pasta plates. We were all happy. Great table service by Hannah.

Great waitress, good food. We’ve been on a 3 week long road trip and have been cooking our own food for most of it so we decided to go out. This restaurant had a very nice ambiance, outside seating, good food, and was a great...choice. I had a rib-eye and potatoes. I had a piña-colada and later the homemade root beer which was very good. We bought 2 glasses with the logo as a souvenir. There was a bar and TVs with soccer and basketball on.More

The food was decent. Spinach artichoke dip was good. Caesar salad was good. Steak had great flavor, but was over cooked. Buffalo chicken wrap was decent. Fries were great. 6 Cheese Bacon Pasta was the highlight of the meal. Some of the taps were warm,...some were moderately cold. Staff was friendly, but overwhelmed. Their oven wasn’t working so half the menu wasn’t available. We believe this added to the food wait times. Overall a decent experience. The location and vibe was cool and had the beer actually been cold this probably would have been a 4 star review.More

Great local restaurant with great service. So glad we stopped! They do have a kids menu, even though I didn’t find it on their website.

Friendly server, Great Food, Nice craft Beer. We got there and were seated quickly at a table that would hold 8 people. Definitely a great choice on our part. We will return when we are back in Alamosa

With high hopes after reading great reviews, we were sadly disappointed. As we sat for 90 minutes watching beers go by, every single one was over poured, splashing over the sides and not one had a head (including our own). We asked the server and...she acknowledged that there was trouble with the carbonation. The establishment was aware, yet continued to sell all the FLAT beer at regular price. The plus side was our server was friendly and the BBQ pork tacos were tasty. So if you decide to try it, ask if the CO2 system has been fixed! A brewery with a poorly functioning carbonation system is unacceptable!More

Everything was good at San Luis Valley Brewing Company. No complaints, but nothing exceptional either. We had friendly and prompt service and the wait was about right. Portions were large - most of us left food on our plates. The five of us tried a...variety of handhelds and all to good reviews. Nice atmosphere, not too loud for conversation. Sorry to say I didn’t try any beers nor did we have the nachos which looked great from a distance! Liked the vibe.More

There is seating outside on Main Street and on the west side of the building. No patio, one person had their dog on leash and it was laying very quietly next to the table. Colorado seems to be pet friendly. I noticed... More
