I know it's Disney, but come on! Entree portions were big, but $9 for a basket of garlic bread?!? Food was delicious, and service was top-notch. *Might* go here again if I can afford it without worrying about the cost.

I am meeting friends tomorrow to go to Disneyland but today had a chance to visit Downtown Disney before heading to my hotel. I opted for an early dinner and La Brea Bakery was the place to go. Convenient, not too busy (it was pouring...rain), and mid-afternoon. Many empty tables. So when I requested a table for one, I was asked to sit at a high seat table in the corner near the bar next to the register where the servers work at the computer. We walked past multiple empty tables to get there. I was kind of surprised, but ok with not taking up a full table. Still… All bad feelings went away when Wendy was my server. She was personable and helpful, engaging me in conversation and checking in on me frequently. I really appreciated her and her service. My Cobb salad was amazing and the wine she recommended perfect as an accompaniment. A very nice meal.More
I absolutely love this place because of the food and wait staff BUT the only downside to this restaurant is their hostess Rachel. She is not happy nor giving the customer service she should as a hostess. I witnessed her shaking her head and talking...down on a mother that was trying to comfort her crying child. Yes it’s a lot to hear a baby cry but it is not anybody's place to say anything to a mother that is trying to do her best. Her customer service on top of that is not great, she has no interest in being there or even friendly. She forgot there was a table available and made us wait until she noticed it and tried to laugh it off to us. She is the worst and the reason why I can’t give a good review. That was the most shameful thing I have ever encountered. 10/10/2022More
First day I had the burger second the BBQ chicken sandwich. Burger was better. Much better. My wife had the salmon, loved it.
located by the gates to both parks, food is consistant and service friendly. Great place to chill before entering eith park
We had a reservation for dinner, it went smoothly and the wait staff were very nice…. but… here’s the thing, I know people will say, “what do you expect it’s Disney?!” But truthfully I do expect more “because” it’s Disney. The food was just ok....And that’s being generous. We ordered the Mac and cheese bread bowl, grilled cheese and soup and Alfredo pasta. I hate to say this but Olive Garden or Panera is way better and not $100.00 for 3 meals.More
Good filling of comfort food for sure. Lots of different sandwiches to keep you full while roaming around Disney area. They have gluten free options also
We stayed at the Disneyland resort and came here every day for breakfast our server Kim was absolutely amazing five stars she is the reason we came back but the food was one Also amazing I will definitely be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
As usual the hostess in it seems usual Disneyland restaurant fashion was disinterested in making the customers happy. Seems to be the culture around Disneyland restaurants. Had breakfast here. Very good! Pecan French toast is reason to come but everything was good. Wait staff excellent....Expensive. We ordered 6 entrees for four people. $200.More
Service was good. Pleasant ambiance. Food was good and enough menu choices. Would go there again. Nice break from the heat
After a long day in the parks this was our final stop of the evening. Food was great and the service was very quick. Our waiter was super nice and very personable.
Lukewarm Coffee, Lukewarm Hot Chocolate, Onion Rings with oil dripping from inside, asked for Cajun Fries...got regular fries. The food was poor at best.. Service good but for the price they charge and the quality of the 21 dollar sandwiches.... I wont go back for...this again.More
Well beyond any normal Disney fare throughout the park. We ate in the sit down area, and believe the walk up area has similar food. The service was fast, food was served fresh and hot and was delicious. We had grilled cheese and tomato soup....This is an adult grilled cheese sandwich and was absolutely wonderful. Would return to Downtown Disney for this wonderful sandwich. The tomato soup and their garlic bread were great as well.More
Had lunch here on a 97 degree day last week. While seated outside, the seating was shaded and very comfortable. Service was prompt. I must have been dehydrated because I downed my lemonade and water in a couple minutes, but new lemonade appeared before I...was even ready for a new sip, so I know the server must have been watching. Food was very good. Dessert was extraordinarily good, though. Even the warm bread pudding, which you wouldn't think would be appetizing on a 97 degree day, was so delicious. I have to say again, the service was great, though. Not only was the server attentive to continuing to refill my drinks, but I could also see our server interacting with other tables, psyching up the kids for what they were about to experience at Disneyland, for example. It just overall felt way more magical than some of my dining experiences INSIDE the parks!More
Stopped by La Brea for dinner after visiting Disney, they got us in quickly and were attentive and friendly. I have a nightshade allergy (includes potatoes, tomatoes, peppers ) and it's Always Super hard to find something on the menu to order, I usually have...to get something made special. But La Brea had a salmon dish that was perfect!!! No substitutions needed, it was delicious. I double checked with the chef for any seasonings on the salmon or cauliflower mash that may have peppers, but they just use salt and pepper for that one. Thank-you to the la Brea team for having something easy to order for us nightshade free people! (Tip: mark that dish nightshade free ;) no where else does it so you'd be ahead of the game!) #nightshadefreeMore
