I think you can either love or hate a place like that. I am actually not too keen on shrimp generally but I really enjoy going there. The serving system is entertaining and the quiz is always bringing some giggles. The selection isn't too big but movie lovers and anyone who enjoys shrimp dishes will have a good time.

We stopped here last week while on the way to LAX to fly home. Since we love Bubba Gump so much we went out of our way to go to this location. We were early and sat outside until they opened at 11 and the manager opened a little early and allowed us in. This was very helpful since we still had quite a drive to the airport to catch our flight. Our waiter was Carlos and he was fantastic. Very friendly and suggested things from the menu for us. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and the food speed was good. We were a little disappointed that the I'm Stuffed Shrimp was no longer on the menu but that's not their fault. They thought it would come back again some time so we are hopeful. We opted for the variety shrimp basket with fries and garlic bread as an appetizer. The food was all very good. The parking garage is right behind the restaurant and they validate parking so it was free for us. I would recommend this Bubba's and ask for Carlos!

What a great meal. We tried 2 of the specials. “I'm Stuffed! Shrimp” and “Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp”, and both gave us that cozy warm feeling of a great taste mouth full. We finished with a really good cheese cake. And the IPA was also great. So so nice....I want to come back again.

This is only the 2nd time I’ve visited a Bubba Gump, the first was in Hawaii and was excellent with an amazing Mahi dish. This location was not near as good as my Hawaii visit. I had the flounder and it was okay, but a bit on the soggy side. They were also very busy and since I was a “party of one” diner, they sat me at their bar instead of a dining table, which wasn’t ideal. I was fairly underwhelmed with this dining experience.

Theme was light. Food prices were on the high side. Salmon and grilled shrimp combo came with 3 skinny shrimps. Needed 8 shrimps to feel like you actually ate some shrimp. Wait staff was scarce. Won’t be returning.

Some of our group had never tried Bubba Gumps and we told them the food is hit or miss. BIG MISS! We didn’t mind waiting a long time for our food since every restaurant is short staffed. Four of us had shrimp dinners that were not cooked all the way and doughy, three others had cold food.

We had great experience in Bubba Gump in Long beach. My husband decided to eat here since we had a great experience before. Let me start with the high chair, we were given the high chair as soon as the our appetizer came in. We were ok with it since we knew it was really busy. We had clam chowder and it was super salty! Did not want to make a fuss so we just asked the crew if we can get to go bowl and just dump it in there. Calamari was good! But other food that we ordered were small portions and not good enough for the price that we are being charged. Another thing is we were charged twice for a refillable drink. And also was given a different flavor of shakes than what we have orders. The place was a mess, another table close to us was only cleaned after we left, mind that we were there bout an hour+. It was not a great experience.

Went to dinner with my bf, food was great! Ordered a margarita when seated, midway through the time there I asked the server what other kind of margaritas they had since he had taken the menu. He said "that's such a broad question" laughed and walked to away. Did not wat to get ratchet, so I just looked at him and asked for the menu and ordered another drink. He did look a bit of like there was something going on maybe in his personal life but that is not the way to talk to customers. My bf insisted on leaving a tip, I don't think he deserved one.

My daughter couldn’t wait to eat here. We don’t have any locally but she tries to find them when on vacation. This one was a big let down. She got a two shrimp meal with fish. She loves shrimp but barely touched any of it. My husband got chicken tenders (not a seafood eater) and they were bland. He then got a chocolate chip cookie sundae - but even said it was just ok. I ordered the salmon. I thought it was fine. I’m not a white rice fan so I didn’t try it but I did like the glaze on the salmon. Review is only based on food, but to add…
We were surprised when we walked in that the staff was not wearing masks. We’ve been in the area for several days and eating all of our meals at restaurants. This was the first place this happened. Our table was also dirty when they seated us (scraps of food laying on the table). My husband asked if it could be wiped down, but they still just pushed it towards the wall. If you’re in the area, definitely try Tony Roma’s. We’ve had two great meals there so far.
This was not our typical Bubba Gump experience. Bummer.

We had dinner at BG's in February 2020. While the decor and theme is great the food is just okay. I feel the waiter rushed us thru our meal and had the bill well before we were really ready to leave.
I didn't find the food that tasty and it's pretty hard to find any choices that are even moderately healthy.
I'd eat at BG's again but it would not be my first choice

Had dinner here during our recent trip to Universal Studios Orlando. Great mocktails and beautiful food. We ordered the Shrimper's Net Catch with Garlic Spice and Cajun Spice. Best shrimps we have ever had. Also tried the Alaskan Crab and Shrimp Pasta. Wish they would open a restaurant in Australia! Great service, friendly staff, great casual atmosphere!

We were looking for a fun family restaurant on our first night and found it at Bubba Gump. The waiter was so nice and they had a fun family trivia game to entertain. Kids had fun, we all had a few to many laughs and could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this restaurant, just a heads up, it is a lot of fried food but still has a few other options.

My husband and I were in Anaheim for a conference. Bubba Gump's was within walking distance from the Convention Center and our hotel.
The food was tasty, I ordered the 20 Shrimp for $20, it came with fried and tampura shrimp, fries and coleslaw.

For a chain, this is very good. The food is much like a couple of local beach places I used to go to as a kid in the 50's. That was when the Los Angeles area had some of the biggest tuna fisheries around. Shrimp was always a treat for us and fried in peanut oil is the best, in my opinion. If I had to complain it would only be the portion sizes are gigantic. Service was pretty much standard. Not bad, nothing special.

We went there to have lunch the 1st day we got to Anaheim. The food was very tasty, well cooked and juicy and I got a souvenir cup from Bubba Gump Shrimp. There was a slight issue with their order system and the manager came to explain the situation to us and ensure that everything was going smoothly.
