Food is meh. It's about the characters- and it's overpriced. I really think they can do better. They don't have toast or bagels. Thats' so basic - especially with kids! Characters come to table and take pics. That's the highlight.

If you have a small child who loves Minnie Mouse, this is a great place to eat. When you enter, you get to meet Minnie and get a picture taken with her. My daughter was very happy! Other characters we met were Daisy, Tigger, Winnie...the Pooh and Chip and Dale. Food was good and it was a nice place to eat in the park.More
It is Disney, so everything is expensive. But the food was good and filling. We were fortunate to get in as walk-ins. Dining opportunities are scarce, so take what you are able.
OK - so I used to think the fried chicken could not possibly be worth it her and I was wrong. It's $20 for a fried chicken plate - but it's a lot of chicken so it fed two of us and it really is...AMAZING fried chicken. We ate every scrap - so tasty. The green beans were not good but the mashed potatoes were. Now this fried chicken is on my must have list of food to get every time I visit Disneyland. Wow - if you like fried chicken then you really must try it here.More
It was our fourth character breakfast here, not as fun given the limited interaction with the characters but it’s about the closest you’ll get and they all did a good job of interacting with our kids. The food is nothing special but good enough given...that’s not the main attraction.More
Not a good experience. No one was helpful and we could not understand the female employee that was helping us at all due to a language barrier. My husband and I spent 95 dollars for two meals for lunch which was advertising character dining on...the Disney app (which we later saw it is only for breakfast on the Disney website) and a reserved spot for the parade. The parade spot was okay so there were no issues there. The $95 food package included Mac and cheese, veggies, bread pudding and meat. The lady didn’t offer us anything else for the meal, which one of us did not eat the meat and we were unable to do anything about it. It was not worth the price at all and not buffet style. We did not receive dining service and we were not asked about how our experience was going. I asked several guest service employees where the reserved spot was for the parade and they did not know. One lady at the plaza just said the light pole on Main Street and that was it. My husband and I love Disney, however this was not a good experience. We do not recommend the $95 food package the Plaza Inn offers.More
We reserved the Parade Package, which included lunch and reserved standing for the parade. Overpriced, but what at Disneyland isnt? We had heard that there is a set menu for this package, which was disappointing because honestly, there was very little in the set menu...that I would eat, but with husband's very recent injury, the reserved area for parade viewing was what was most important. So thrilled when it was our turn to check in at the podium and the first thing we were asked was: Are you ok with the package menu or would you like something else from the menu? Husband went with the set menu: a strip steak (the steak actually was fine, I was not impressed with the sauce on it), mac & cheese (which neither of us really enjoy), roasted winter veggies, and chocolate bread pudding (husband was thrilled to have 2 desserts because I dont eat bread pudding, and especially not chocolate bread pudding). And two tiny strips of garlic bread/ I ordered the chicken and it was FANTASTIC! A huge serving of green beans (slightly overcooked but not bad at all), good mashed potatoes and gravy, and DELICIOUS biscuit! And a choice of jams for the biscuit. Oh, and refills on drinks! Two nights before we had eaten at what use to be our absolute favorite chicken dinner - Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner - and seriously disappointed at the food, overcooked, dark brown, chicken; lousy gravy....etc. This chicken was SO MUCH better that my husband was so disappointed that he did not order the chicken dinner (even though, after saying he would take a small piece of my chicken - he ended up eating the breast which was, of course, the largest piece of chicken! Which was fine since I got the drumstick!) I only wish I could have had a different dessert - but that was ok - I had a gingerbread Mickey later on! And the viewing area for the parade was perfect! I had to leave bad review for service, because the only real service is the person filling your plate with your choices....this is more cafeteria style service - but plenty of seating available!)More
Plastic silverware No servers Serve yourself everything Sausage was burnt Potatoes dehydrated Selection of food is limited likely because of covid Still for $220 for 5 people should have been better Mitch
Plaza Inn has gone down hill for breakfast. Potatoes were dehydrated. Cook could not cook eggs. She went through six eggs and still could not get it. French toast was hard. Could of hit a home run with it. Orange juice is watered down. Syrup...is cold. I got up to go see if there was anything else I could eat and they completely cleaned off our table tag and all!! What a disappointment. We spent $100 for basically Mickey waffles and bacon.More
We were able to do a walk up for a late lunch as this place is now where you go through a line and select what dishes you want. The entrees were excellent but the rainbow cake was terrible. Nice atmosphere eating outside.
We did the Minnie character breakfast on our last day at the park. Cannot recommend this enough. You are greeted by Minnie first, and she was fantastic. Once we got in, we were seated and had things explained to us. My wife waited with our...8 year old as I went to scope out the food. I felt the food selection was good and also liked that they had cast members putting the food on your plate for you. All of the food was great. Characters. Well, we have done many character dines at Disney World so were interested in how different things would be here. Combining this with the Disney World ones, this one ranks in the top 2 of all character dines we have done. Not sure if it was because we were early and they weren't that busy yet, but each character really spent extra time with my daughter. Even visiting our table multiple times. The characters we had were Eeyore, Tigger, Dale, Rafiki, Max - Goofy's son, Gideon from Pinocchio, Fairy Godmother, and Peter Pan. We have never seen Max or Gideon at Disney World. I would definitely recommend this character breakfast.More
We did Minnie Mouse's Breakfast Character Dining. It was a yummy food buffet where we ate a lot! Loads of character interaction with more unusual characters, not the classic bunch. I thought we would be rushed out for the table but we spent 2 hours...plus in there. Excellent value for money compared to other character dining experiences.More
what can i say? Fried chicken was Fabulous! read about & saw YouTube videos on it. did not disappoint! Plaza Inn made my day!
The fried chicken was good. Expensive...but so is everything Disney (cafeteria fast food at fine dining prices). The biggest disappointment was the kids meals. They got a a scrawny little drumstick and couple other small items. All three kids were still hungry after the meal....The staff seemed tired and overwhelmed. Overall it was probably the best tasting dinner we had in the park but not great.More
We have eaten here twice now and it’s a solid place to get some filling food in your belly while at Disney. I was about to pay a whopping $30 for corn dogs at the nearby corn dog stand when my (smarter than me) 15...yr old said “wait mom, chicken dinners would be a much wiser choice for the money”. She was right. For about $10 more, three of us shared two chicken dinner platters. It was more than enough food. I asked for extra mashed potatoes instead of the vegetable side (we were at Disney, it was a veggie-free day!), and requested all-white meat ($2 more). My daughters and I shared the two plates which had in total 4 chicken breasts, 4 scoops of mashed potatoes and gravy and two biscuits. We finished it all and it was just enough food. It was all pretty tasty. Nothing you go home and dream about but definitely one of the better options at Disney, especially if you can share, since each plate is about $19. The breasts were very juicy and had a good flavor but were not real crispy, which was fine by us. The potatoes may or may not be powdered but they were tasty as was the gravy, and the biscuit. $42 for three to eat a sit down meal there isn’t too bad. We sat outside where there is plenty of seating. Went at 4:30, there was a small rush then it was dead around 5. Would recommend going at a non-rush time since it can be time consuming for them to assemble the plates so the line can move slowly.More
