Delicious food and friendly service. We had the shrimp tempura and the scallops for main dish. Both were amazing. Will definitely come back.

Excellent food and service. Generous portions. We split appetizers and a main course, then the chocolate soufflé. The lobster dumplings were amazing.

Upscale Hawaiian focused spot in the Garden Walk. Came here for dinner with my parents on a Friday evening and made a reservation in advance. We had the canoe sampler for the appetizer and even though it’s meant for two people, we were able to...split it amongst the three of us. My dad particularly loves the spring rolls they have. I had the jumbo tiger shrimp as my entree, which came with 6 pieces of shrimp and a very small amount of noodles. My mom had the classic combo, while my dad had an order of a sushi roll. They were out of salmon on that particular night and so the classic four dish was unavailable. The entrees were all on the smaller side, so I would suggest ordering some sides if you’re on the hungrier side. Service was friendly and checked in on us often. They inquired about allergies at the beginning of the meal and since my mom is allergic to shrimp, they were very clear and direct in terms of what may potentially trigger her allergies. Credit cards accepted. Paid garage parking (no street parking available). Bathrooms located in the back right hand side. It is good for large groups.More

Back here for a second time in the hope it would be a bit better. Firstly, the food here is good. In fact, it's the reason we came here a second time. However, we were totally put off by the fact that one of the...servers was chewing on a toothpick the entire time! Reasons for chewing on a toothpick: 1) You have something stuck in your teeth (gross, deal with it in private) 2) You're sort of working a look where you chew on a toothpick 3) You're hoping to tick your boss off by people noticing it and writing it in reviews Neither of these is appropriate for a restaurant with Roy's prices. It was just gross. All round sloppy. They don't quite get it right here. Harsh, bright lighting and service that's a little off. Such a shame as the food really is very good. Well, we gave it a second try. Paid a big bill. Got random stuff that we didn't order that had to be sent back. I just think that management needs to step it up a notch.More

I've been here a couple of times, even during covid. I became a fan of their Maui Wowie Salad. This time I started with the same salad and then Thai-Style Seafood Bouillabaisse. The Bouillabaisse was well pated, looked amazing but very hard to earn due...to the plate it was served on. Impossible to peel the shrimp. Scallops undercooked as well. I complained to my waiter and challenged anyone to peel the shrimp without using hands (you should NOT use your hands on this restaurant level and a dish with sauce). He passes the information along, asked for a expresso and the check. NEXT SURPRISE... somehow I was informed that they could not run my credit cards 'cause their machine cannot read the chip and I could not enter my Pin. REALLY? This place is FULL of tourist from all over the world and they cannot read an international card. Sorry, this is UNACCEPTABLE! No manager of anyone from the kitchen came to me. I guess I must be a very unexperienced restaurant guest. I gave my criticism to them to avoid future guest desapointments and to help them 'fix' the plate. Luckily I had cash with me. Paid in full. $150More

We've eaten at several of Roy's restaurants in Hawaii and California for well over a decade and have never had even an average meal. This time, the dynamite salmon and the parmesan bacon-crusted sea bass were wonderful. And Roy's made eating vegetables a treat with...their tempura green beans. I've never loved green beans so much before! We always finish the meal off by sharing the chocolate soufflé. We could tell that the server was a little new, but it wasn't a big problem. If you can afford it, you can't go wrong at Roy's.More

The fillet (59$ before tax) ordered medium, arrived well done (not even pink). The kids menu appetizer arrived after the main. The shrimp tempura is in fact mushroom and broccoli tempura with the occasional shrimp. The sushi selection is about 5 rolls, one of which...was not available. Not a good experience.More

Went to Roy's again, and we all decided that Roy's is the best restaurant in Anaheim. We all tried different dishes this time. Such a fabulous dinner, especially the Canoe appetizer for 2, which was expanded for the 5 of us. Equally superb was the...butterfish and braised short ribs. The upside down pineapple cake and the chocolate cake were outstanding. We were celebrating a graduation, and Roy's made it very special with a nice sign on the table when we arrived, and the desserts displayed beautifully with a candle. Service was excellent. Parking was easy in the lot, and Roy's will validate your parking ticket for 2 hours.More
