Location and contact

The three chefs restaurant „Tam labam būs augt” (The good must grow - Eng.) is a restaurant with the open kitchen, beloved by citizens and admired by guests of our city. It was founded in September 2011 by two famous Latvian chefs, Mārtiņš Sirmais and Ēriks Dreibants. Very fast the restaurant earned popularity and was acknowledged among the highest ranking restaurants in Riga. As a proof to it, in 2013 and 2014 it received a 3rd place in the Top 30 restaurants in Latvia Excellence award. Despite rocket fast success, we remain accessible, friendly and open to everybody. We love our clients and will provide perfect service even under the most complicated circumstances.

This stylish high-end restaurant is located in a characterful former barrack building in the Old Town, a short walk from Doma Laukams (Cathedral Sq.). The interior is modern, with a central open kitchen surrounded by a counter where diners can see the chefs at work,...More

Liked the personnel and food. Tasty food, friendly and stuff, good communication, chill atmosphere. One dish per our group was not perfect, overall satisfaction was high.

We visit restaurant by accident. Unique. The dessert with dry ice is impressive. Price are high but it’s worth to visit and take a lunch or dinner.

We visited this restaurant with a large group on a companytrip. We were seated in a separate room, so didn’t see much of the restaurant itself. But we came for the food and that was very good! Friendly staff, nice wine. Would certainly visit again.

Bulls-eye. We were lucky enough to book this via the web & then find out it was a set e20 menu as it was Riga restaurant week. Fantastic food & brilliant service. Would have been happy to pay full price.

The problem with TripAdvisor is its rating system. Five stars are easily given, since anything less means failure, and as a rater one is aware of that. This means that the top is flattened, anything decent is given 5 stars, I do it myself. Only...More

I agree with the previous answers-no dress code, however, considering the restaurant price range, you will probably feel more comfortable being simply neat.
