I don't know where to start with this review as everything was just amazing, from the time we walked in the door until we finished our desserts and coffee in the kitchen. We had the contemporary degustation menu as all the choices on the menu...More

We both chose the Cosmo tasting menu and were not disappointed. Excellent service, food fantastic and invited into the kitchen to have dessert and watch the Chefs at work.

We had a fantastic dinner at Caviar and Bull during our trip to Budapest. The food is amazingly creative but the shining star of the restaurant is the people who work there. Daniel our server and David our sommelier were attentive and involved, and made...More

Stumbled upon this gem from Trip Advisor. We walked in without a reservation and we're sat quickly. The waiter Tom was excellent and had great personality and wine suggestions for my flambed sea bass, which was excellent and probably the best salt baked seabass I've...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

I would say no to be afraid, I did not see any kids and it was a very grown up scene. I have kids myself, and would not have brought them here. Maybe for lunch if that is an option :-)

There are many things on the menu besides the tasting menu. My guess is that they can accommodate your friend's request.

The place is a real gem which walks in the footsteps of its Maltese counterpart yet ensures a clear Hungarian imprint in its design as well as in the menu. Local fresh ingredients, sourced from the best suppliers harmoniously coexist with Caviar&Bull signature dishes and key staples of Hungarian cuisine such as the use of the local grey cattle, Mangalica pig, Foie gras, paprika and Tokaj wine.
