Last night we ate at the kitchen bar and thoroughly enjoyed sharing the FeedMe #1 (the classics) sampling of seven dishes from the menu. Each of the dishes provided unique taste combinations, colors and textures. Despite the crowds, the food was served promptly by friendly...More

We went early enough to have our group of 6 seated straight away as you can’t book. After that, the queue of people formed for the entire time we were there. We had a vegan, 2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters and everyone was happy...More

Eclectic menu of Asian fare. Everything was delicious. The wait can be long so call ahead if you are able. It is a bit noisy, so not a place for a quiet meal.

They have great, tasty food. But be prepared to wait. If you are impatient or downright hungry, I'd say don't bother, but they have a bar downstairs you can grab a drink, and if you wait it out, it is spectacular food.

First time visit to Chin Chin ,what A great experience. We arrived early and had about a 20 minute wait but it was worth it. Highly recommend it if you have the opportunity to visit this outstanding restaurant.

We went to Chin Chin on a casual Monday night as some friends had recommended it. We had no issues with the 1 hour wait (first said 45min) and ended up having a table rather than siting at the bar, which we preferred. The moment...More

I'm pretty jealous of Melbourne's food scene. Every city block in the CBD has delicious smells and sounds coaxing your nostrils through the doors. We stumbled upon Chin Chin on a Sunday afternoon and were lucky enough to get the last table for two. (Note:...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

I am not sure if it does have high chairs but bear in mind it is extremely noisy, busy and can be a long wait for a table if you arrive after 5.30pm. You may be best to go at 5.00pm and hopefully seated straight away. On our... More
