Perfect meal after a good route

A very very beautiful place, very original and above all very comfortable. With super fast and more friendly service, a super friendly and attentive waitress. They welcomed us as if nothing was happening after arriving half an hour late on a fully booked holiday... And the food without words... Everything was delicious and to me it seemed very well priced, €25 per person. WITHOUT a doubt a place to repeat.

We ate with a group of 50 people. Perfect food, starters (ham, stuffed peach and sardine toast), delicious white beans and two good dishes, cod with tomato and oxtail. Everything in fair quantities so as not to be too full and served quickly and pleasantly. They changed my dessert because I can't eat cheese. In short, everything perfect. To make a point, the cod sauce could be improved and they don't serve coffee or shots. Overall, highly recommended.

Excellent place for coffee

We stopped enroute from Cervera de Pisuerga up to mountains for a coffee. The place was quiet and we managed to order coffees with our basic Spanish. The village is isolated and this seems to be the only place for drinks and snacks. The staff were helpful and the coffee very reasonably priced.

Plenty of food and quirky dining room

We visited one Monday afternoon and were offered the tasting menu. We tried various dishes including cecina, alubias, asparagus, meat, fish and dessert. You can not fault the amount of food for the price and the service was quite quick. The waitress was nice and attentive and provided more water and bread as soon as requested. We felt the quality of some dishes was higher than the others and that it wasn't all necessary (the fish dish for example). The room itself is lovely with stained glass windows and interesting artwork. The only faults I would pick would be that my plate wasn't as clean as it could have been and that we had to use the same plate for three of the dishes. Bear in mind that we'd eaten meat with fat and some from the bone and all this was sitting on the table with us. That said, I would highly recommend visiting as it was excellent value for money.
