Simply but fantastic and cozy place. Picturesque location. Breathtaking view. I liked and I recommend "tagliata di manzo" - well cooked !
We were there before Xmas when the new dining room had just opened. Excellent food, phenomenal wine list, picturesque position and modern but cozy veranda with a lovely wood burner. Not formal and accommodates every age. Not at all stuffy, good service and fairly priced....More
Albert and his staff at La Gruba offer a special food experience. We sat in their new glass room and felt very cosseted by the fire and atmosphere. The drive getting there was also part of the adventure being set in the old village of...More

Food was amazing. Generous local . The restaurant is in a tiny mountain village right on the edge wth footpaths winding off across the beautiful mountainside. Inside is a lovely cosy restaurant with lovely log fire burning. A perfect place to be snowed in.

the food is very simple and tasteful. the wine cellar is limited but very high quality. be aware that the road going there is narrow and very steep. Do not go if you are afraid of travelling on the snow!
ambience is very nice, service is nice and familiar. The food is fine considering the altitude and the location. We had a good lunch after a nice hike. Makes sense to stop there if you go hiking (also in winter with winter shoes) over there.
