I have been here three times this winter. Each time the service was so slow. Two weekends in a row no ginger ale. Two waitresses who were not in a hurry to clean vacant tables even though there were people waiting to be seated. Once...seated waited 15 minutes to order drinks and another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Food was good when we got it. Great atmosphere too. Very limited menu. Portions not consistent.More

Had lunch here after a sporting clays shoot. The food was delicious. Ate the standard grille/bar food and it was quite tasty. The views off the back deck are quite beautiful. Our banquet consisted of hamburgers, salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob and everything was...better than expected. Would definitely come back.More

Always great for enjoying and learning more about proper shooting form. Restaurant had a special event that day so we did not eat there.

We were looking for a local place for a casual lunch. We ate outside, looking over the water at one of the inner tables. Beautiful setting. They had several larger groups but there was plenty of space for couples as well. Didn't feel cramped. Ronn...was our waiter and very pleasant. There is noise from the Sporting Clays but not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation.More

A long, well worth it ,drive up the mountain. Restaurant overlooking lake and mountains is nicely decorated,BUT SO cold inside. Outdoor dining is good. Service was good, food was good. Both of us ordered wine...the glass was pretty and 1/4 full?? And cost $9....mentioned the very small...pour ,and the waitress said that the manager had told the bartender that previously he was filling the glasses too full.wish we had been the recipient of that... at the price the bottle of wine was worth about $90!More

Just went this last weekend for drinks. We sat at the bar and talked with the amazing bartenders and met Justin(manager), all the employees were awesome, polite, answered all are ?s and were a blast to talk to. We stayed on top of 7 Spring...in the townhouses, so it's only like a 3 minute drive to The Grille. Perfect drinks, good price, food seemed to look awesome, casual food nothing fansy which I dont like. Very clean, bathrooms looked new, plenty of parking. Hit this place up awesome!!More

We ate at the Grille at Sporting Clays when staying overnight at Seven Springs Resort. The building was beautiful and the view from the porch was very nice. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend eating here!!

Go during the day and sit out on the deck and gaze at the lake and the trees and listen to the wildlife while enjoying a drink and some food. Probably my favorite spot of all.

I was with a group, so I got to try different appetizers and see different sandwiches. The wings are unremarkable and appear to have some coating. They appear to be frozen and the sauces were predictable - I tried the buffalo, bbq, and garlic which...were the best. The bleu cheese appeared to be house made as well as the ranch and honey mustard. good sauces, not so good wings. The soft pretzel sticks were also frozen and mircrowaved. They became quite hard as they cooled and were devoid of any unique or flavorful taste. The nachos with pulled pork were the best appetizer I tasted and the pork was not bad-not great, but not bad. The toppings on the nachos was a tad skimpy. My sandwich was a grilled cod on a roll with remoulade sauce. They put little sauce on it and it would be much better with more of the sauce. The cod was adequate and sauce was above average. The cole slaw was creamy and institutional. They have single serve pizza's and my friends said the pizza bread (it was french bread style) was good. They have a version of the Primanti bros style sandwich that had lunch meat roast beef and was not very substantial, lacking overall adequate filling. Prices were higher than average but on par with the rest of the over priced food at the resort. Average cost of sandwiches was about $15, do not go out of your way to eat here. They do have a nice deck view of a lake and you get to hear the soothing sounds of shotguns firing at the adjacent skeet range if sitting outside.More
