Drove in to Dunblane looking for a pub restaurant & came across The Riverside pub, menu was not massive (good job) but it catered for all tastes, we had the option of sitting in or out, it was a nice day so we sat out,...our amazing view was of the river Allen, food was all handmade, very tasty & filling, the other food coming out of the kitchen looked just as appealing, it was very busy, they fitted us in but it might pay to book. WE WILL BE BACK SOON.More

I had read reviews before stopping for late breakfast and was unfortunately disappointed. Firstly the service was very slow although I do appreciate the staff were busy. I had eggs royale and the eggs were not cooked. The white of the eggs were runny. I...did report this to a staff member who did offer to take the food away. However I did eat the salmon and muffin leaving the partially cooked eggs. On waiting for my bill again service was very slow and on having to stop a staff member for the bill I ended up having to go to the bar as I was still waiting on the bill. On going to the bar I was expected to make full payment given the poor food quality which again disappointing service.More

Lunch visit to The Riverside. Our order was taken maybe 5 minutes after being seated. The food choice was OK but having been here a few years ago, the menu doesn’t seem to have changed.. Service was extremely slow, 25 -30 minutes from ordering to...getting our meal. It wasn’t very good I’m sad to say. Just nothing special. Overall pretty disappointing. Toilets weren’t too clean, which was a surprise. Think it’ll be another few years before I return if at all. On a positive, the staff were very friendly.More

We visited late in the evening to have some food. Food was great, and the setting sitting outside on the balcony at the river was very relaxing. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend.

Visited twice for dinner and once for breakfast last week on our short stay to Dunblane. What a find. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient, particularly Lisa. The food was outstanding too. Thank you for making our holiday to Dunblane.

We were a table of 4 for lunch. We had to move our table timing and they were very accomodating. We were served by Richard who was very amiable and chatty and flexible with some of the order chages we made. Sitting on the Terrace...over looking the river was very pleasant and made the experience for us. Food seemed fresh and cocked to order and was tasty. A good lunch choice.More

We had a great family meal here on a Sunday in August. It was busy so be sure to book ahead Good range of local veg and food with a Scottish theme as well as the usual range The fish was great and the service...was good as well. No excessive waiting times even when it was busy but when we booked they did move us slightly from our preffered time to stop a clash with a big group at that time so that was a good touch.More
