The dinner was very good. But we did not get buns with butter upon arrival. The server did ask if we wanted drinks. My husband wanted a Molson Canadian beer. The restaurant doesn’t provide this brand. He decided to order Merlot instead. It was very...good. I ordered a pineapple Mimosa. Delicious! We ordered a meat. & cheese board for appetizers. Also had 5 shrimps in sauce. All was great. We heard the next table being told that they could have carmelized onions…..we were not told about these sides!!! All was good. We went for the steak & lobster special. It was a good deal. You end up spending around $200 + anywayMore

Golden Wedding Anniversary. Service and arrangements were impeccable. All three choices on the Prix Fixed Menu had presentation and flavour. At the end of the meal we were allowed privacy to catch up with our guests.

My GF and I visited Peninsula Ridge restaurant on Fathers Day hoping for a nice and relaxing experience. We came to the restaurant w/o reservations, however we're readily seated and offered water, menus, wine list and were told our server would be over shortly. This is...where everything broke down. 4 couples were seated after us, served drinks and food orders taken. We had nothing. We continued to wait in hopes that someone would serve us. Didn't happen. The young hostess came by asked if we wanted more water and we explained that our server hadn't been over and almost 35 minutes elapsed since we sat down. Within a minute or 2, Diana the restaurant mgr came to us and we explained what happened and ask for the bill that was only water. She insisted we stay and enjoy a complimentary brunch on them for the mistake. Apparently, new table assignments were given to the servers and we fell through the cracks. She personally guaranteed she would make everything right, which she did. Food and service was excellent and the views stunning. Hats off for making our lunch enjoyable and doing the right thing!More

We were a party of 8 celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent accommodating those with food sensitivities but more importantly allowing us to set our own pace. Good food in a scenic location creating great memories. We will be back.

The service was excellent and the food was average. A charcuterie board at this level of dining should be elevated from colby marble cheese and another bland, cheap, gummy cheese. That was the entire cheese selection for $22 per person with a few salami slices...and a couple of olives, the crostini were nice and salty. I haven't had marble cheese since I was a kid, so it did make me smile (for a second). Generally, in wine country, a charcuerie board is a sure bet but not this one. Jambalaya was tasty but little noticeable seafood for $48. Portions were hearty. The dining room is small and intimate. Only two tables when we were there, and they seated the second table directly beside us.More

Diana was an excellent server. She was professional, friendly and was definitely knowledgeable about the menu and its ingredients, which is especially important for people with food allergies. Diana knows how pair wine with food and we absolutely loved her wine suggestions. She was most...accommodating when we requested a table change. Beautiful venue! We all said we would highly recommend this restaurant.More

We’ve been here years ago and it was one of the best experiences as a foodie I have ever had. Alas, they have fallen a long way. First , I’ll give them credit - the service was good, and the atmosphere and grounds were nice....This is why I rated them a 2 instead of a 1 So what went wrong? It started with the Caesar appetizer. Salad should never be soggy or mushy…. Yet this is what was served. The dressing tastes like it came from a jar. My main course was the salmon with curry sauce. While the sauce was flavourful, that was about all that was positive about this dish. The fish was bland, the rice pilaf … well it has Color …. But no saffron flavour. Again, bland. The asparagus was over cooked and … surprise… bland. Oh, peninsula ridge, how you have fallen. I’ve been raving about your restaurant since an amazing tasting meal 15 years ago , but now you’re a shadow of what you were.More

Let me begin by explaining why PENINSULA RIDGE ESTATE WINERY has become irresistible and why I cannot wait to return this summer. It's a true culinary experience. Let me simplify with some top highlights before telling you about my evening: 1. Feeling like family when...you enter this establishment 2. The delectable cuisine and first-class service 3. Panoramic view of the Niagara Escarpment surrounded by the most perfect vineyards First and foremost, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly restaurant hostess. Soon after being seated, Laura, the Manager, arrived to our table to greet us and welcome us to the restaurant. This restaurant is excellent; from the service to the special requested exquisite anniversary song. Thank you Caroline; that was so unexpected and so exceptional. The scenery was a lovely aspect of the experience. As a first-time client, ordering here was simple and enjoyable. The menu is simple yet offers such a diverse farm to table culinary experience. The servers, Caroline and Liam were really educated, courteous, and, overall, a pleasure to have as our hosts for the evening. For appetizers, we enjoyed Steamed PEI Mussels in a fresh tomato and garlic butter broth, as well as an Antipasto Platter (cured meats, cheese, olives, etc.). For dinner we had Pan Seared Pecan Crusted Salmon on a bed of rice with asparagus for dinner, as well as Smoked Chicken Fettuccine. Dessert was Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake, which was created differently than conventional cheesecake. For the evening's wine pairing, we chose a bottle of Reserve Meritage. Yum! Admittedly, I was not the designated driver and so I drank most of the bottle. Thank you again for making our anniversary so memorable; it was truly a beautiful experience; 10/10 recommended. P.S. If I can suggest an add on to your visit, if going for dinner, arrive an hour earlier to do a tasting at the winery. The wines are fabulous.More

Three of us had lunch at Peninsula Ridge today. We were seated in an upstairs room, which was fine, albiet there was really little "atmosphere". In a nutshell, the food was medicore, and the entire experinece, sadly, the same. We woon't be back.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we were blown away by how excellent the food and service was. 3 of us had the eggs Benedict, and my partner had the French toast, and there was not a crumb left on any...of our plates. The drink selection was also awesome, as not everyone in our group wanted wine with their meal. We cannot wait to come back and try their dinner menu.More

Great service, great food and an excellent property! We went here on a date night recently and we had the best time! I’m a vegetarian and the staff were very accommodating!! They helped us select which wine would go best with our meal and the...server hit it out of the park! The food was so good we’re still talking/dreaming about the gnocchi! We stopped at the wine store there before our meal and the staff there were super friendly and very knowledgeable. We can’t wait to visit again, soon!!More

I would say that it depends on the weather, because they do have a lovely terrasse and the main building is on two floors. Probably anywhere between 60 to 75.
