We had the most delicious breakfast at Ardagh Hotel & Restaurant. I had poached eggs with avocado on sourdough and it was superb. My boyfriend had an omelette which he also loved. In particular, the fresh orange juice was so good - we still talk...about it!More

Ate here 4 years ago and so memorable we fitted in a return visit. Good Covid precautions, friendly staff. Country house hotel style rather than fine dining.Warm bar area with fire going.Well mixed cocktails, straightforward quality menu with more seafood but lamb/steak options. Not a cheap...night but no regrets.More

Top class food. Beautiful setting. We had a beautiful dinner for 2. Could not complain about the food. Wine list quite good, very attractively decorated interior. Only small matter which would go a long way to making the experience perfect would be that the waiting...staff spent a little more time with the customer making them feel welcome and eased the pace on the floor to achieve a more controlled and calmer atmosphere rather than the frantic running around we witnessed.More

We ate in the Ardagh restaurant on each night of our stay there, although we'd planned to do so on only one. The menu is interesting, the ingredients world-class and the meals themselves the last word in wholesome deliciousness. On top of that service is...excellent The winelist is extensive and tends towards higher quality. for all that the house wine is very affordable and of excellent quality itself. It must be so--we drank a fair quantity of it. Fill your boots with confidence at the Ardagh Restaurant.More

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The decor and views are fab! I had emailed ahead and pur a request in for a vegetarian option which they catered for with a beautiful lasagne. Really good food and service in a beautiful setting 😊

The meal was very nice, enjoyable and relaxing. Everyone was very friendly. Even with the COVID19 situation, we were able to have a quiet repast.
