We liked the Tavern but the welcome was a bit tepid. The food was not...very hot and plentiful but flavours were a bit lacking we felt. Nice dining room. Too brightly lit for evening. Not a lot if ambiance and the waitress was too dour....More

I can recommend the steak pie. Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. Nice selection of desserts but we passed on those.

A fantastic pub with a stunning restaurant and views to match. The atmosphere was great with the owners and staff very friendly and welcoming. Ribeye steak was beautiful. Cooked to perfection. Salmon dish was excellent. Can’t recommend the Tavern highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Lovely food - certainly not pub grub. Welcoming atmosphere and great with children. We have visited multiple times and always consistent.

A real friendly pub with an outstanding range of beverages to get one pickled! Staff were welcoming and served with a smile. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great food. Not "tavern" food. Worth the short drive out of town. Their on site brew is good. They seated us late which was appreciated.
