The food here is absolutely outstandingly amazing. By far hands down my favorite restaurant as of the past year and i’ve lived in La Grande my whole life. GC & Moy’s are okay, but they can’t even hold a candle light to the quality of food & flavor of this place. Plus the people are just so nice and an absolute joy to be around.
EXAMPLE: One time we got there about ten minutes to closing and our order ended up not going through online bc it was too late and it sent the order for in the morning instead. Well, when we got there we realized what had happened and the chef said as long as you guys are just getting sushi your more than welcome to stay while the other workers clean the grill it’ll take about an hour. So of course we said hell yeah! and then still got our order in the morning haha. Hands down love this place and would recommend it to anyone passing through or if you haven’t tried it here yet and live here, you haven’t lived yet!

If you’re looking for good Sushi and just all around great food. This is a great place to go eat! This place is good for families, friends, or singles to come and eat and chill.

We began with 2 fresh spring rolls and were very disappointed. The rolls were a chunk of iceberg lettuce with a couple shrimp stuffed in and a couple of noodles wrapped in a rice rapper. They were serviced with some kind of soy sauce and when we asked for the peanut sauce that was listed on the menu they said they didn’t have any. Wouldn’t order again. This was followed by miso soup that was very bland. I’ve had better instant miso. My husband had the sushi B and he thought it was flavorful and a good deal for the price. I on the other hand had the sashimi entree and found it to be a disappointment. It was more expensive than the sushi my husband had with smaller pieces, no rice on the side and no eye appeal. On top of this, the service was poor. Our server was too busy texting on his phone to be available. Overall, I personally wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t plan to return!! Sushi B = 3 stars, Sashimi Entree = 2, Spring Rolls = 2, Miso Soup = 2, service = 2. Overall a 2!
