We visited as a group of 12 and had fondue, noodles and a few bottles of red. The service was great, choice of food suited the group and the wines were all delicious. Would recommend as an alternative to chalet foods if you're staying in...the area.More

I come here every year and will continue to do so for good reason. The food is great and the service matches. The menu is vaired so everyone can find something to eat but their fondu is the best!

The food was good and the stuff was nice and friendly. Recommend to have a reservation for dinner as the restaurant is full.

Myself and 6 friends were staying at les balcons and had our half board at the restaurant nearby. We absolutely loved the food, the set menu every evening was lovely with a lot of variety and the staff were so kind and friendly. They really...went above and beyond! We arrived late on the first day due to a delayed flight and although the kitchen was closed they gave us loads of bread, cheese, and cold meats to takeaway and offered us a lunch in exchange on our last day. Thoroughly recommended!More

The waitresses at L'Auberge provided excellent service with a smile throughout the week we stayed in Val Thorens. Special shout out to Karine, who runs a tight ship with her team, and was also good banter. As for the food, it was always very good...quality. The raclette and fondue nights were especially good. The breakfast can get a bit tiring after having ham and cheese baguettes every morning, and the scrambled eggs were often lukewarm to cold. Aside from that, still good.More

We stayed at Les Balcons Val Thorens and used this restaurant as part of the half board package. On arrival we wondered off to the restaurant to meet the manager and her staff. We was greeted with a friendly and very helpful manager and she...explained everything we needed to know. During service all staff was helpful and service was very quick, yes the place is busy but added to the experience and the food in my opinion was very good. The breakfast was continental breakfast served with scrambled egg if I had one criticism it would be to serve sausage bacon beans and egg as well to cater a little more for us English lol. The range of food during the week was different everyday the pizza is lovely and the three course meal is defo worth it. Would I eat and drink again here at this restaurant if I ever return to Val Thorens well yes I would. Enjoy your visit and don’t be a snob.More

Visited here as it was close to our apartments and the reviews were positive. We were very happy with our choice - some traditional local dishes like Fondue and Tarteflette are on offer, and the prices are reasonable (circa 28EUR PP for the fondue with...meat, and circa 20EUR for the tarteflette). The service was a little slow, but they were busy. Several diners had the raclette set on their tables with huge slabs of cheese on heaters. A good choice in the area.More

Brilliant meal all round . The service was freindly and very accommodating. I ordered the steak tartar which was one of the best I've had. My friends had the fondue with meats which went down very well. Excellent place to go after a long day...on the slopes and enjoy traditional French foods. Also ideally located.More

Booked a table after finding the restaurant on trip advisor, it was amazing! It was very busy, so definitely worth booking in advance. Food was delicious and very reasonable, service was great - best meal in VT!
