My partner and I have visited this place over the last few years we have been to VT. We like it so much that we almost exclusively have lunch here every day! Great location, great food and great service!

What a nice and highly interesting setting with art on the walls and cool furniture, great menu choices and fantastic cooking. Modern cuisine and very, very friendly + high class service. Definitely comes with my best recommendations!

Beautiful food Lovely relaxing atmosphere Very friendly and accommodating staff Bread with tuna and salami was brought to the table whilst waiting for our meals Highly recommend the lobster ravioli, the Arctic char (fish) very light seabass type of fish with a. Ready mash served...with vegetables and the most amazing stock The prawn wok was very kindly changed for one of our party to chicken with no qualms whatsoever but the prawn wok was extremely tasty and enjoyable too The Alpen burger was delicious served with skins on fries which tasted like mini jacket potatoes Mmmmmm The lemon meringue desert was zingy and so tasty Highly recommend this lovely atmospheric restaurantMore

This was our second visit. The decor is, as you may expect “arty” and the steak was cooked to perfection. There was a 25+min delay on serving us our main but it was rectified with a couple of glasses of wine. The stir fry wasn’t...brilliant - all in all felt quite expensive for what it was. However, it’s something a bit different and worth a try if you are staying locally.More

This restaurant is one of Val Thorens best kept secrets. Inside there is a gorgeous wine shop bursting with French wines at every price point and style imaginable. There are lovely tables for inside dining, but in sunny ski weather, the terrace right on the...snow is the perfect place to lunch apres-ski. The menu is not large, but don’t let that put you off. The dishes we had were extraordinary. And of an unexpectedly high standard. The frois gras for entree was served with steaming hot bread and a toasted brioche bun. Teamed with the rich but light frois gras, it was a taste sensation. We ate it slowly. The wines by the glass were excellent and we enjoyed a champagne with the entree. For main, the fish was an incredible dish. The fish melted in the mouth and was topped with a slightly Asian style sauce and sat on an ultra light bed of what may have been mashed parsnip and a few vegetables. Heaven. One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever eaten in France. That good. My friend had the beef tartare which was also elegantly presented and a taste sensation with just enough spice, egg and texture. Sitting in the sun watching the skiers, it was the kind of meal dreams are made of. We should have had dessert given how amazing the food was but instead settled on the white hot chocolate made with almond milk. Again a culinary delight pushing boundaries. Can’t wait to eat here again next season.More

Absolutely Lovely 😊 My partner and I had two lunches and our final dinner at this restaurant during our short stay in the resort. 🤸🏿‍♀️🌸We found each experience delightful , we were served by a good number of different staff during our 3 visits and...they were all delightful . The menu suited our tastes ideally . We loved the interior of the restaurant, chilled, tasteful and clean .The lady patron recognised us each time we went in, and she said she hoped to greet us again next year as we left on our final visit , nothing could’ve been sweetie , more welcoming or more professional. Thank you 🙏 ⛷⛷There is a very negative recent review listed on line against this restaurant when the folks admit they did not even eat and walked out, their mean comments bare no resemblance at all to our experience of this venue and we ate there three times!!! ⛷More

Top cuisine. I had the steak, which was delicious and beautifully presented but the plate was cold and so was the food and we all kept our jumpers on and were freezing cold! The lamb and gambas were first class too.

Enjoyed two meals here over the Christmas break with lovely fresh food and a friendly atmosphere. Owners and staff are really friendly and the chefs prepare an excellent standard of food. I look forward to eating here again later in the month.

We stopped by here for lunch, three skiers and a non skier. Immediately shouted at for skis (12 year olds mistake). Dealt with and apologised. Sat down and had menus thrown at us. The waiter proceeded to bang glasses around on the neighbouring tables. Looked...at the menu and it was totally uninspiring. We weren’t looking at paying €30 euros each for a light lunch and there was little choice for snacks. Even the soup was €12 each so for four of us with drinks we’d be looking at over €70 . We eventually left after 10 mins, not that anybody came back to us to take even a drinks order.More
