Good and friendly. Relaxed family atmosphere. Just a bit surprised by the cover charge of €5 per person - not on the menu (especially as tap water is €2 per bottle). But the pizza was good and very filling.

Great Pizza! Service was ok not that fast but they got the job done. They make the pizza in a wood fire Pizza Oven but only one of them so they cant handle many pizza's at the same time.

Family run, friendly and traditional. Great place for a quick high quality pizza, nice touch that you can vary the flour type of the base - liked the maize one! Good house wines and lively atmosphere complete the picture here.

Loved this place. First the bread was the best of good options we've had in Italy since arriving a week ago, and the gracious host/owner Antonella told us it was made from same bread dough used to make their pizza which they are known for....More

We were walking around Volterra looking for a restaurant recommended in a guide book. Went into Alla Vecchia Maniera on a whim (they had pappardelle al chingale (pasta with wild boar) on the menuboard outside. I've been waiting for this since we got to Tuscany....More
