Elegant, excellent restaurant and professional staff. Environment suitable for families with children, but also young adults. Very comfortable beach beds with a nice thick mattress and very clean. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, it is also possible to have a light lunch to be consumed in the dedicated areas as well as children menu. The aperitif accompanied by a platter of snacks is also top quality. Relaxing atmosphere. The parking reserved for customers is very close (4 minutes walk), but there is a golf car that makes a shuttle service; well organized. I take this opportunity to thank the owner Maria Sole, very careful about everything, kind and helpful. I will definitely be back next year too!

How to eat well on the beach at Punta Ala

This restaurant on the beach is run by a great bunch of folk from Avellino who have brought their culinary skills and product north. Try the calamarini, the tuscan Bread with cream cheese and Anchovies that are to die for! Fresh fish is just that and our Rombo was cooked perfectly. Side dishes of melanzane, roast potatos and Zucchini were great 'contorni'. Shame it's open only June, July an August.....we will be back next year.

We had dinner there one evening in July, the location is very beautiful, on the beach, which allows you to admire the entire sunset. We were at a table outside the veranda and when the sun went down it was a little too dark, there were no candles or table lights. The fish dishes were good, but nothing exceptional, we expected more, including the service.

3 aperitifs for 45 euros, 15 euros each (Aperol spritz!!!) with two bags of chips of 30 g each and 6 olives! 2 bags in 3....No tray no bowl for stones, very horny! Waited 15 Min for command. Very confused and chaotic. I asked to pay by credit card, they selected ATMs and they did not apologize or re-operate. Incompetent rude little respectful of the customer, beautiful place but like many others in Maremma, overall not to be recommended

Great experience. Starting with happy hour drinks with friends during the sunset. Unforgettable dinner, excellent sea bass in a charming location on the seaside. Professional and friendly staff. Hardly recommend.

The food and the service was well below our expectations...and also very pricey. The upside was the location over the sunset, the garden... The "masterchef" dishes with very nice plating but with sand in the seafruits (calamaretti). The risotto and the spaghetti with seafruits had nothing delicious... From the first dish to second se needed to wait like 40 min... we receive a complimentary sidedish that had nothing to do with our main second dish... The prices were higher than the menu published on the tripadvisor or other sites. The fried mixed of seafruits were also small and not really a mix: 1 langustina, 1 baby octupus and calamari Really dissappinted.

Great view and great food

Wife and i enjoyed dinner here last night. Setting: right on the beach. (So got to see a lovely sunset. But bring sunglasses since you’ll be looking into the setting sun) Noise level - quiet. Staff - very friendly and accommodating even though we had the language barrier. Food - delicious. Wife had clam spaghetti, very sweet and tender clams, i had pasta with cherry tomatoes. For dinner, she had swordfish and i had tuna. Both very good. Not quite sure why this is the number one reviewed restaurant in town, because usually that ranking goes to some drop dead gorgeous place with fancy food but this was certainly excellent and you can’t go wrong here.

Great food on the beach

The biggest challenge is to arrive there, even with a GPS. The first time, we really struggled and had to ask several people, as it is impossible to get there with a car. There is about 300-400 metres to walk after the parking. Once there, it is paradise. Last time we went, we first swam, Then after a shower, we had a drink in the open air lounge by the restaurant. Dinner came then and was delicious. We really had two gorgeous dinner there, at a high cost though.

state alla larga ... stay away ... pessimo servizio ... terrible service ... i'll never come back ... in order to have a drink we had to ask 5 times . the food we ordered never arrived after waiting1 hour for the food we just went to the cashier paid for the drinks and left

A little hard to find (don't trust Google Maps!) but worth it!

An excellent beach side cabana style restaurant with all the trimmings - luxe without being smug or leery. A great menu with reasonable prices and very fresh produce, especially the seafood. We had some difficulty with language (English not well spoken on the day we were there) but managed without much difficulty. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

not what we expected

The restaurant is situated in a good place with a view over the beach. The welcome was nice but then our good mood was destroyed. The waiter forgot about some of our main courses so we waited for them around 45 minutes. Spaghetti were undercooked and I found sand in my sea products. In the end we waited for a bill for ages so we went directly to the till, where the waiter gave us a bill which was 3 times higher the real one. It was quite clear they wanted to cheat. It is important that we have checked it. To add - the waiters do not understand english, so be prepared they will not answer your questions.

A great place! Food is always fresh and flavoursome, plus service is friendly and professional. Very nicely designed space, light, modern and airy, with nice, discreet music in the background. The place also comes alive in the evenings, pre-, during and post-dinner, with live concerts. The staff running this restaurant manages another establishment in southern Italy, with a totally different food concept. Ask for info.
