Deservedly Popular

Make sure you book or you may be disappointed. This establishment is popular for a reason. As a family, we can only comment on the pizzas. They were so good that on two separate visits, we all ordered pizza and we were not disappointed they were excellent. On a personal note, I prefer to hear the babbling brook of customer conversation rather than piped music but at the end of the day it is all about the food and it was very good. The cocktails were excellent and there was an interesting choice of beers. As a dining-out experience, it was delightful and not too expensive.

A great first experience that makes us want to go back

We stumbled upon this place during our one day halt in Ortisei, and we're so glad we did! The food was high-quality across the board and the service staff was kind and efficient. They found us seats within 10 minutes of arrival even though we didn't have a reservation, and readily accomodated our request to prepare the Thai Soup without meat. Our waiter was the sweetest and recommended us a great mocktail (the one with mango and pistachio). To top it all, the tiramisu was to die for – it was definitely the best we have ever had. 🤯 I'm not sure when we might get back to Ortisei but Turonda is a big reason for looking forward to it, when we do.

Fantastic burger, expensive beer

We had planned to visit another restaurant however unbeknown to us it was closed on a Tuesday. We spotted this place after a short wander. Lots of pizza choices on the menu but we fancied something a little different so ordered 2 beers (which were expensive!) and 2 burgers. The burgers were delicious, one of the tastiest we’ve had, albeit a little messy to eat!

Go for the gram if that’s your thing, but not for value for money :)

Don’t understand the high ratings… have tried a few local restaurants on our trip. If you want an amazing pizza - go to E-Quattro instead. Staff were polite and food was nice enough, but value for money was highly questionable. Had the vegetarian salad and paid 12 euros for a bowl of leaves with a literal sprinkling of sunflower seeds, pomegranates and cheese. Then 9 euros for truffle Parmesan fries (that we had to remind them for and got almost at the end of our meal), that didn’t even taste of truffle and were just frozen french fries. It was genuinely all tasty enough, but not worth the money. Then 4.50 euros (again, had to chase), for what was apparently a bottle of still water, that we think was just tap water put into their own branded bottles (because apparently they don’t serve tap water). Ludicrous when you consider you’re in the mountains and there’s a public drinking tap on almost every street corner… every other restaurant has charged ~1-2 euros for tap water

Made reservations for our anniversary dinner. Our greeting/welcome was blasse. The server was brusque, bordering on rude. And the pizzas were typical - they did offer some variations on crust choices - black, crisp, etc but nothing special made even less special by their poor service.

Top place in Ortisei - strongly recommended!

Nice place, welcoming personnel and delicious pizza. Mr pizza maker is a proper artist, never tasted such a crunchy pizza napoletana. 5-star rating fully deserved. And, relevant note for Fabiano, top service, really friendly and explanatory when describing the menu. Once again 5 stars also for him. Oh, don’t forget to try grappa. It’s a must for the owner!

A must visit restaurant

This very popular restaurant needs booking in advance for a reason. Firstly we were seated swiftly and drinks came quickly. The food available was extremely varied, something for everyone. All the food was fresh and delicious and some original dishes available. I had the black pizza which was delicious with chilli oil, my family had sweet chilli chicken and seared tuna. All dishes were well presented and delicious. The service was on point, as my daughter wanted to try my pizza and without even having to ask a spare plate was brought to the table. Drinks were poured for us. I really can’t fault the food or the service. An absolute bonus is the view from the back of the restaurant, stunning. I 100% recommend you visit this restaurant.

I, literally, created a TA account just to review this restaurant. Our last night in town we stumbled upon this gem - a stone’s throw away from our hotel. They were able to accommodate us without a reservation and we were seated promptly. The drinks were strong, the service efficient, the servers friendly and the food was spectacular. Truly a highlight of our trip. My husband adored his hangar steak and the vegan pizza I ordered was truly amazing. I was not expecting something so delicious and suitable to my diet in the Dolomites. One of the best meals I’ve had here or on this trip, period. Well done.

Great pizza, great view, great service!!

We had a long day of driving from the Alba to Otresei and were tired and hungry. We saw that this place had the best pizza in town per their sign and they were right! We ordered a basic cheese pizza and it came quite quickly AND was delicious! The service was friendly and efficient! We highly recommend eating here!!

Best Pizza Experience

The pizza is unique, perfectly prepared—and delicious. But this resto doesn’t stop there. The vibe is casual / chic with a very cool soundtrack that stays in the background—not too loud. Pizzas are paired with suggested cocktails which are equally innovative, and assembled by a skilled mixologist. You will go for the pizza, but walk away with a simple but great experience.

An Experience to remember - thank you Monir!

We LOVED Turonda! The restaurant more than lived up to the hype. We had incredible Margherita Pizza's Neopolitan style - lip smackingly delicious! A throwback to our time in Napoli... But in addition to the tasteful decor, the well thought out ambience and great menu, what really stood out and made our experience memorable and special was the EXCELLENT service of Monir our waitron! From the moment he introduced himself he was polite, full of great recommendations, friendly and all round just superb! Make sure to ask for Monir when you visit Turonda - he will make your entire experience so much more memorable. Well done! Keep it up ;)

Absolutely great, very surprising

Although we didn’t made a reservation they created a table for us. The pizzas are so surprising. The dough is very light because of a long fermentation. And great toppings. Nice choice off beers. The staff is very friendly and they work quick. Unfortunately for tomorrow they are already full booked so a reservation is normally a must.

Great food, friendly server, must try in Ortisei

This restaurant came highly recommended by locals & it lives up to its reputation. Comfortable seatings, food was amazing, server Mattia is very friendly & helpful. If you’re in Ortisei, try this restaurant. The white truffle cheese fondue pizza is out of the world, the kids love the Nutella pizza.

Amazing Food and Cocktails

This place has the best range of cocktails. The bar tender is amazing! Giancarlo <—- BEST bartender! The food has a wide variety of dishes which you wouldn’t have tried anywhere! We ordered an all vegetarian menu and it was great. We came here twice so that we could try all different types of food and cocktails.

Amazingly creative pizzeria

The Turonda is right in the heart of Ortisei and offers a very creative food and drinks menu. Their black dough margherita pizza was absolutely amazing with thick-lookong yet super easy to digest dough and fresh ingredients as toppings. Eating it definitely doesn’t feel like having eaten a whole pizza. Great value for money, would love to try some of their cocktails on a return trip.
