Our party of three arrived at about 1300 hrs on a cold Monday in January hoping to enjoy a menu del dia that would sustain us for the journey back home to north west Murcia. The menu (no written or printed menus) was spoken to...us about 20 minutes after we were seated. There were only three starters, all of them cold. I declined a starter. The service that followed was so slow that we joked with each other that we might still be there for our Christmas dinner. The 12 euro menu included no drinks and a glass of paint stripper red wine was just short of 3 euros. The three course meal and coffee (charged at 1.50 per cup ) tooke two and a half hours and we left hungry and 45 Euros lighter.More
Smoked Fish salad, simple top quality ingredients, made this dish. Paella fresh, perfect. A bit of a wait I infact almost 2 hours after ordering, but not worth.
We only went for tapas and sat at the bar inside and really enjoyed it. The hustle and bustle of a busy traditional Spanish bar , eating and drinking, people watching we could have stayed all afternoon. Restaurant was fully booked on that day too....Definitely going back.More

This place is always busy and deservedly so. We stopped off to see if we could get a table on the terrace and had a couple of drinks at the bar waiting for one to come free. It was very pleasant sitting outside with mainly...locals enjoying the balmy evening. Food and wine were good; we had excellent garlic prawns, nice and spicy patatas bravas, flavoursome huevos estrellados (eggs, potatoes and ham) and a decent sized portion of green beans with ham. Service was friendly, the bill was very reasonable and we’ll definitely come back.More
Since buying a place in this lovely seaside village la venta has become our favourite watering hole. Great place to mix with locals and other nationalities and always has a great atmosphere. The owner andreas has brilliant music playing with a mix of spanish and...english tunes. Food very good too especially the fish. Staff always very friendly and very organised. We dont mind waiting to be served at times as it is always very busy and were chilled anyway. Keep up the good work. John & lynda glasgowMore
A familiar ennvironment where they cook the most delicious recipies with fresh food to let you dream on the table. Paella , fish and watermouth seafood are waiting for you there. Great local food, awesome prices.
We ordered main dishes with a large salad to share, and we had to ask for the salad just before we finished mains. Now we have been waiting over -9mins to pay, perhaps we should leave. Food was ok nothing special
Were shown to a table, then waited for a menu. Never asked if we wanted to order a drink! Other tables were waiting as well. Once given a menu still waiting for 15 minutes and then left. Staff to get organised.
