We decided to try this recently opened restaurant to celebrate my birthday and were very impressed. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and attentive. My wife has an intolerance to wheat, and the waitress was really helpful in highlighting what dishes from the menu were suitable or could be adjusted to deal with this. We’re sure to go again, and given the quality of the food, will also try the take away service that they offer.

Was travelling John O Groats to Carlisle cycling and wild camping, and took a gamble to go into Lockerbie. Found this Chinese restaurantat Crown Hotel. Crispy beef, egg fried rice, barbecue ribs and wontons. Excellent flavours and great value. Washed down with a pint of beer. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy

A beautiful meal in immaculate surroundings. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was a Monday lunchtime so not too busy. Food was hot and tasty and freshly made. We were stuffed.
Would definitely recommend.
Pricing not bad. Two courses for 3 people and soft drinks under £50.

Newly opened as the Dragon Star Chinese restaurant, and we had one of the best Chinese meals we have ever had.
Really well cooked and portions just the right size.
Good selection of local beers, and I would recommend the Caledonian.
Staff helpful and friendly.
And very reasonable prices!

Food was OK but totally ignored by staff who were more interested in fiddling with computer than acknowledging customers standing in front of them.
