We visited Reykjavik for a week. This place had the best fish and chips. Not too deep fried. Good amount of fish. Tartar sauce really good. Place was cozy too.

Simple place, with nothing spectacular about the décor but I did get one of the best lamb kebabs I had in a good long while as the Icelandic lamb was excellent and tasty, with plenty of it with a nice marinade and sauce that was just spicy enough without being overpowering. Good price too considering it's location.

We opted for here as a quick dinner stop off during our stay in Iceland. It was very busy when we arrived but they managed to find us a table for 2 pretty quickly, service was average a little lacking. We ordered drinks and some tap water but we never recieved the tap water. We ordered 1 x Pizza and a few sides of share, food arrived in good time but no cutlery or plates were provided so we had to ask for those as well which was a little annoying. They have homemade Garlic & Chilli Oil on offer to try too which we thought was a nice touch. A nice meal, still pricey but one of the cheaper options in the area!

We were walking around downtown Reykjavik and the sign for Pizza hit us both at the same time. we have to try this - and it was excellent pizza - I wouldn't have thought! The service was - atmosphere reminded me of a typical pizzeria. I have to say though - as most things are expensive in Iceland - we split a small pizza, I had a beer and she had a coke and the bill was $40 US - So I was not surprised! But all in all we loved it!

Awesome Pizza! I tried a couple of different pizza places in the city and this was by far the best. The crust was awesome, ingredients were fresh and it was cooked perfectly. I wish I had pizza like this in my home town. The staff were super nice and service was quick. A great place to try if you like wood fired pizza

So, we went here eating lunch and ended up ordering pizza. It was really good and the crust was just perfect. Good have had some sort of dressing. I like my pizza with some garlicsauce. Anywhos, we ate up everything and decided to order melted chokolate cake with icecream and it was so good. Exactly like those you get on fancy restaurants. Would recommend.

Stopped here for a quick snacking after a long day of walking around the city and found it to be a great little place. The seafood pizza is excellent, very generously portioned and its great to be able to wash it down with a cold beer also.

I have to say that this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! And that’s coming from someone who lives in The Pacific Northwest US. I grew up being spoiled with FRESH salmon — solid fish that didn’t SMELL FISHY (bad sign to be able to smell it before you eat it IMHO). This was fresh, hot, tasty, and no upset tummy afterward! Good job!

I didn't really want to go but my friends were tired and wanted to eat so I went along. I got the donair because it was the only thing that looked interesting. On arrival, I was surprised to see that they make their own pita bread! What a difference as it elevates the entire dish. One of the best donairs that I have had in a long time. Nice and pleasant surprise! The pizzas looked good too. The service was spotty but the servers were working their tails off...and the nice owner chatted for a few minutes and was quite charming. People say this is an expensive place...all of Iceland is expensive so it doesn't really matter. Personally, try to eat the native food before having non Iceland food. But if you must, this is not a bad place to go.

Compared to most other restaurants in Iceland, this was reasonably priced, we ate here 3 times and the pizzas and pita kebabs were delicious. Make sure you try some of the chilli infused oil, it is fantastically spicy. You have to compare with other restaurants to understand that everything is expensive here and reasonable food at this price is good.

This may be a restaurant in Iceland but it looked more like a cafe and it charged incredibly high prices for food which seemed to be standard practice for tourists in that country. But my vegetarian daughter said her pizza was really good and my meal of fish and chips was quite tasty. It was somewhat a pity the serving of fish was so small while the price charged was so high. We raided our bank account another night for takeaway pizza from there but were charged the same as for eating onsite which was somewhat unreasonable.

I had the chicken kabob on pita and my husband had the beef/lamb kabob on pita. We found the pita bread to be sub standard. There was absolutely no seasoning at all on this pita sandwich. This was the blandest kabob that I have ever eaten.

We grabbed the last table just before the dinner rush began and a line quickly formed after we were seated. Granted, in such a tourist zone that doesn't mean much, but it's always reassuring to see that a place seems popular. I had the lamb gyro (all lamb, no beef) and the grilled lamb was in chunks instead of long strips as is typical with some gyro places. The lamb itself was amazing. It was tender and perfectly spiced. The gyro was pretty big, and there were some sauces that I thought diminished the flavor of the lamb somewhat, If I were to return, I'd order the lamb with the rice so I could enjoy the lamb flavor undiluted. My friend had pepperoni and pineapple pizza. It was terrific - the crust was the perfect consistency, the cheese and toppings were extremely flavorful, and it all went together well. The service was pretty good, for such a busy place. One interesting thing I noted in our hour or so there was that there was not a single female working anywhere in the place. That could have been a rare occasion, but I found it interesting because there were so many workers on duty.
