I got strawberry icecream which isn’t my usual but it made me want it to be. It was swirled with pink and white and oh so delight. So creamy so dreamy so strawberry. It was fresh and not icy, the waffle cone crunched like you imagine it would. Summer or winter this place is a winner.

Located in the Old Harbor District and serving up huge scoops of delicious ice cream in a large variety of flavors. . A very popular place for kids and adults. Seating swings out front are unique......make of chains. We stopped her for ice cream twice during our stay in Reykjavik.

Don't miss checking our Valdis for their Salted Licorice ice cream. It's a really unique flavor and surprisingly DELICIOUS! Kids enjoyed fruit flavors. Get a small because the portions are large (and this way you can get more ice cream later in your trip!). We visited the harbour location after a trip to the Saga Museum. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

We came here on a recommendation from a server at another restaurant and we were amazed by the variety of the flavors. As a fruit lover, I was instantly attracted to the mango and raspberry flavors. We were able to try them (the first time I was able to since COVID) and I loved both of them. My dad got the white chocolate and the salted caramel peanut, both of which I tried after he got his cone and those were awesome as well. We went back the next night because we loved it so much. This time I tried the pineapple and was blown away by the flavor. Also as we were walking in I saw another customer with ice cream on a steaming waffle, so I decided to try that as well. The waffle was warm and sweet and the ice cream mixed with the waffle was amazing. Our servers both days were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Valdis!

We stopped here after dinner and to try the rye bread ice cream. The staff gave us samples of a few of the more "unusual" flavors. They were all good and interesting but the vanilla and raspberry we decided on were excellent. Next visit this shop will be on our go to again list.

Oh my goodness! This ice cream is amazing! Having worked in an ice cream shop when I was younger in the UK I like to think of myself as an Ice Cream expert! I couldn’t recommend this more! Every single night me and my partner stopped in Iceland we visited this place, our evening routine consisted of a meal out, then an ice cream and a walk to the sun voyager. I only tried two flavours (Oreo and Mint after eight) but got hooked on the Oreo then asked for that each time. The ice cream is so creamy and I felt was reasonable priced too (compared to other food prices etc in Iceland). The portions were big and shop/work station clean also. Staff were friendly and most spoke very good English. My partner has a severe allergy to nuts(anaphylaxis) so couldn’t have one each time as he didn’t want to risk it, however, on the last night the lady told us which product was safe for him to have, so he finally got to try it. I’ve already been planning my next trip here and have promised to bring my dad when we come back! I’d really recommend making a visit here to anyone considering it.

There are a couple of locations for this beloved ice cream chain. This particular shop is located in the Grandi district of Reykjavík, sandwiched in between a row of shops housed in warehouses, and is within walking distance of the Maritime Museum and the Grandi Mathöll (Food Hall). There are a lot of free parking spaces in this area too-- something to keep in mind if you are looking to spend a day walking around Reykjavík. I came specifically to try their rúgbrauðsís (rye bread) flavor but unfortunately it was unavailable on the day of my visit. We tried a few flavors before settling on the sweet cream. The texture was very smooth and soft and the sweet cream flavor was mild but had a delicious grassy aftertaste. We were told by the staff member they use farm fresh milk. Cups and waffle cones are the same price and a single scoop costs about 800kr.

My friend and I visited here on our first day of a week long trip on March 10th. My friend honestly could not stop mentioning just how good the coconut ice cream was.....for the length of the entire rest of the trip. We never got a chance to go back here because of the tour schedule we were on, but I know if we could have we would have. My passion fruit ice cream was bursting with flavor, but my cherry one was just okay. Also loved the little waffle cone triangle you get in your cup!

This specific ice cream shop is situated by the harbour. There is another which is part of the same chain in the main town of Reykjavik. They had lots of different flavours on offer we had after eight mint and pistachio which were both nice and they are around 800isk each for a waffle cone and 1 scoop of ice cream.

This ice cream place is situated in an old shipping or fishing building, unusually industrial. However, the ice cream is tops and they have several unusual flavors. A must for everyone, once.

It was so good we went twice! Great little ice cream parlour, brightly coloured with bench and table and chairs outside which in Covid times was really appreciated. I had the liquorice flavour and my friend redcurrant in a small tub. Generous portions not too pricey, worth the money. Staff friendly.

Made an account just to rate this place :) Loved it! I went twice with my family in their location by the church, and it was amazing both times! Very cute exterior and interior, ample seating, good price, great flavours (variety), fresh and crunchy cones, also an option to have waffles and coffee and such although I didn't get them, and great service! You could ask to try flavors before you got them, and the staff was very nice about it! I can't ask for anything more! There are also Icelandic flavors in addition to regular flavors to try, which I think is a bonus! 11/10, would definitely recommend!!

Always at least a short line here. Tried the Rye Bread ice cream because it is a thing in Reykjavik - pleasantly surprised… you get to try two flavors here so definitely an Iceland “must”. Also be careful w the chocolate… my daughter got it and it was chocolate licorice another thing” in Iceland. She actually enjoyed it (and she is not typically a licorice fan). So, a pleasant surprise. Toblerone was another favorite flavor of ours. Fun treat even on a cold, rainy day.
