Stopped in on a snowy Sunday morning. Latte was ok but I am used to Stevia and they only had sugar so that may have been part of it. Cinnamon scone was perfect, not too sweet and just enough cinnamon, slight crunch to the crust. Seems like a locals place, barista was not too friendly.

My favorite coffee spot during my trip! The croissants are delicious and they have a coffee yogurt that is the best way to start the day. The place itself has enough seating and is very clean. I highly recommend a stop here.

Cool little coffee shop that is a great place to start the day. Friendly staff and smooth coffee. Sometimes I would get a coffee drink here then walk down the street to get a pastry and sit outside and people watch.

This is a nice coffee shop, however, they were unable to make the pour over coffee for no good reason, were out of the chia porridge when the store opened and their chai latte tasted horrible! Chai latte had a bitter aftertaste, and was extremely milky, either their chai base had spoiled or their milk was not good.
The only good thing was their drip coffee.Their oatmeal porridge is just an instant oatmeal put into a cup with warm water, it’s not a steel cut oatmeal porridge.

If you want to be served, you need to be really patient. The service is slow and unfriendly. The waiter doesn't say hello, and takes breaks in the middle of your order.
I was the only one in the line and it took 10min to take my order and then 10 other minutes for the waiter to start doing it.

We weren’t able to squeeze in to kàrastìgur so headed up here.
We were so looking forward to fab coffee!
The chap was distracted with another order when he took ours, so, inevitably he got ours wrong.
Americano was out of a flask, lacking flavour.
The flat whites were tastey but small.
Tea was rank

Service was pretty slow, and staff wasn’t especially friendly to me or other customers/tourists. The price to size ratio is also a little crazy. I got a latte and the size was smaller than any latte I’d ever gotten, for more than a Starbucks Venti (not comparing coffee quality here, just the price/size). It was good, but not really a good value. The shop was very cute, though, and there seemed to be a fair number of people camped out there.

We stopped here for coffee both times during our trip to Iceland. Cozy and tasty! If sunny, one can sit and rest outside on wooden floor. We also bought a brand of really good Columbian coffee (freshly ground, one can choose between a few different brands) for our roadtrip and a very handy and high quality coffee thermo - already did a few hikes with us in Thorsmork.

Casual coffee shop. Tea was a big portion and coffee was delicious. I also really enjoyed their apple muffin. If you are looking for breakfast meals, not just pastries, I would recommend finding a different spot.

We opted for a local coffee brewed for 2 of us and the flavour was like nothing we have tasted before. It was really tasty and came in a big pot with enough for at least 4 cups. Very popular place with only a small amount of tables but great feeling and atmosphere.

Spectacular coffee experience!!! Just that, an experience. Tucked in a corner location close to the famous church, this Reykjavik Roaster was our first stop in Iceland. And what a welcome it was. Red eye flight from Detroit we needed a pick me up and they did not disappoint.
Having lived overseas for a number of years, we hate Starbucks and the drive-thru American coffee experience. We used to the European, sitting down for coffee and a chat.
Off the hook double cappuccino(house roasted) paired with house made sourdough toast + homemade hummus and date chutney. What a perfect way to start your day. Make sure to stop and taste this superior experience!!

Located near Hallgrimskirkja. Very nice coffee shop. I had a cup of coffee and a home-made coffee yogurt -- coffee blended with yogurt topped with peanuts and maple syrup. Was very good. Seating is limited. Afterwards, I stopped at Braud & Co (next door) to get some pastries for later.

My wife and I were in Iceland after traveling in Italy for several weeks, and were parched for a cup of REAL filter coffee. (You can only drink so many crappy espressos.) Perhaps because of this context, Reykjavik Roasters blew our minds--but I believe the coffee would have been delicious regardless. They've got beans from several locations (Brazil, Indonesia, and Honduras were represented when we were there) and they roast 'em beautifully. The shop is also very quaint, and the staff are very friendly. It's the best coffee in Reykjavik by far.

Quiet out of the way for when you want to enjoy a cup of coffee and snack. Simple pour over and croissant with butter and jam make a mid day break all worth it. And it was complete with a Coffee Shop Cat.

I happened across this coffee shop on my way from Hallgrimskirkja to my accommodation and took a chance on it out of the blue. It looks rather unassuming and forgettable from the outside but it has a relaxed and homely feeling once you step in the door.
The staff are absolutely outstanding, being very friendly, knowledgeable about what they're offering and having an excellent standard of English.
There are a variety of seating arrangements for solo travellers or small groups, with the option to sit in comfy chairs or at a more upright workstation with a table.
There is a very good variety of coffee on offer and everything that I tried was very high quality. There are also free refills available per drink which is a very nice touch.
And the very best thing of all; there is no rushing or feeling that you are being shooed out the door to make space as quickly as possible. It is totally acceptable to sit down for a while, just relax and look out the window. It really makes you feel comfortable.
It was a great coffee experience and I would certainly recommend it to anyone in the area.
