You have to try an Icelandic hot dog when in Reykjavik. This was very good, down by the waterfront. There is plenty of seating as well.

Unbelievably some of the best hot dogs we ever ate. Reasonably priced compared to other food we ate. Get one with the works.

We enjoyed the local favorite despite little seating and outdoor venue in winter. These are not your American dog toppings. Get the 5 toppings and be prepared for a dog with crunch. You do need to enjoy catsup and onion. You can visit a local grocery and buy one of the sauces and crunchy topping. Take some Icelandic flavor home for easy party fare.

What fun to discover that there are hot dogs made specially in Iceland and are a local favorite. There was always a line at this stand which is near the harbor. The hot dogs were super!!

Our tour guide told us this was THE PLACE for an Icelandic hotdog. Disappointing, the only difference was it had a crunch when you bit into it and it was made of pork and lamb. Pricey and overrated.

Great hotdogs. I can't say better than that. There's a little table, and usually a LONG queue, which says it all.
