We parked just opposite to explore the area and found this little place while looking for somewhere to stop for a bite to eat. We called in and the display of delicious treats looked amazing. It's only a really small shop with two places to sit, there was a group on the sofa so we took the stools by the window. We picked two sweet treats - not really sure what they were but they looked lovely and tasted even better. I had a hot chocolate with cream that came in a separate dish. It was so thick and chocolatey! Absolutely gorgeous on a cold snowy day.

Got lucky and just happened to be walking by and glimpsed the amazing looking desserts through the window! Called in and was not disappointed. Friendly service and great selection. I went with "santa" option...primary flavours were passionfruit and coconut...top notch, really, really enjoyable. Other half went for the "volcano"...dark chocolate and caramel, again delicious! Highly recommend and will try to pop in again tomorrow.

We went to the sweet aurora reykjavik to warm up during our City Exploration. Its such a little cozy place!!! It was amazing. Great hot choclate and good teas. But the best are the pastries! I started with a little choclate mousse it was so good, full of choclate flavour. I had also a hot choclate with tonka bean. Sooooo good. After that I had a lemon tart, which was also amazing. My partner sticked with macarons, which are glutenfree, also soooo good. We will definitely come back!

It's the cozyness of this place that invites you in, but it's Aurora and her delicious pastries that will make you come back time and time again. Aurora is adorable, has a really good vibe, and this shows in the atmosphere of the place. Everything I tasted in the shop was well done and unique. Each of the cakes is a fusion between art and flavour. Heartwarming perfection is what best describes these pastries. Definitely my favorite pastry shop in Reykjavik. Gluttony is not a sin if well justified, right?

Having seen some social media posts about this bakery, we opted to visit and try the cakes. The pistachio eclair was simply amazing, with decent coffee and tea available. The prices are on the higher end but are more than worth it

A great little hidden gem coffee shop which is well worth a visit. The staff were nice and friendly and there were tables and chairs inside or outside plus they even did takeaways! A great selection of cakes and delicious pastries. A good selection of coffee and it was served nice and hot. Nice clean toilets too.

Delicious! Chocolate passion was gluten free and vegan and was out of this world. Excellent selection of hot drinks to enjoy on a cold and rainy afternoon. I had the jasmine tea.

This is a hidden gem, for those who just want the best. It is a journey in each bite and the coffee is out of this world. I think it is the most unique little place to have a sweet bite that is of grate quality. Warning: cravings for this can last for years and for those who have a hard time choosing, it will be therapeutic challenge for them.

French pastries with an Icelandic twist. A lot of research in the ingredient combinations makes Aurora’s pastries unique and absolutely delicious!
