We got what looked like a chocolate cinnamon roll, unfortunately it was pretty dry and not so much a cinnamon roll-but it was decent price and big enough for my partner and I to split, service was quick and friendly. Good spot to stop in for a quick bit!

We visited the bakery upon recommendation of our AirBnB hosts whose flat was just a few short blocks away. This was a great option for a quick and tasty breakfast, an option we took on multiple mornings during our stay in Reykjavik. All of the pastries were good, but the real standouts from what we tried were their apple strudel and the marzipan and jam pastry. We had both the first morning we were there and ended up having the same pastries before we left for the airport! The coffee here is so so as it comes from a machine, but the caffeine and sugar together still work as a fine pick me up. The location we visited was very close to both the city center and the national museum, but since you're in a residential neighborhood, you get the great benefit of grabbing a sweet treat surrounded by locals who are also there for their morning check in. Considering that I felt surrounded by tourists like ourselves throughout our trip, especially in Reykjavik, this was a nice reprieve.

Great little bakery just a block from the Radisson Blue Saga hotel. Prices of food in Reykjavik are shocking so this place was a welcome surprise to find awesome pastries and sandwiches at reasonable prices, and good coffee that come with a free refill. We got breakfast there every morning and loaded up on sandwiches and treats for the car ride. No clue what I got, but wowzer it was good. It tasted like a pop tart, but way better, and homemade. It had some type of almost butter crunchy frosting. We also got this long bread with sliced almonds on it and filled with some type of molasses and raisins filling. That was our treat for the car ride along with the super fresh and delicious sandwiches. Highly recommend!

This is a little neighborhood bakery close to where we were staying. Everything we had there was amazing. Many of the pastries feature marzipan or nutella and were not overly sweet. Bought sandwiches to eat on the flight home and was very pleased.

Stopped in for some traditional pastries, but was a little disappointed with the selection and the quality of the produce, though the pricing was very reasonable. Just okay.

It is a good bakery with a quite selection. The donuts are very good and Hleifurinn is fantastic. The breads are fresh and the sweet selection is very good.

This bakery was on our way walking from hotel into the city. We stopped in about 4 times and tried different pastries each time. I have no idea what they were called, but each was more delicious than the next. Very friendly staff.

A very small bakery that has nice pastries, donuts, sandwiches and coffee. Good place to visit if you are staying at the nearby Radisson Blu Saga.

A very nice small bakery. Was pleased they had Kleinur, which is like the Swedish Fatigmann I grew up with.

Only two places that we ate at in 10 days in Iceland deserve a 5 star rating based on combination of food quality, price and overall taste and this is one of them. It is a bakery right along a main road, but caters to probably 99% locals, so prices are very reasonable, selection is great, and food is tasty. We actually went on our first weekend, and then on the last weekend too. And, be sure to try one of the sandwiches they have at the smaller counter at the end, they are really good. There are only 4 bar stools to sit upon, so hope you can get a seat or just sit outside on a nice day. We visited the location at Hringbraut 35 in Reykjavik, but they have multiple locations it appears.

A perfect little bakery out of the way of the main town but well worth the walk, nice and cheap baked goods, we will be going back again!

We are in Reykjavik, Iceland on a short visit. Stopped in at this bakery for a cup of coffee and a quick bite. We had no idea that we were walking in to a little bit of heaven. Pastries were fabulous and quickly took our mind off of the rainy, windy, chilly weather. Stop in if you are in the neighborhood. You won't regret it.

We enjoyed the breakfast treats and the bread for lunches. The food is good. The people are friendly. I didn't have anything that made my day different. I was glad it was on the way to our travels and near the apartment as fresh baked goods are always a welcoming and warming thing.
