We really enjoyed our “Thanksgiving” meal here. We tried the 4 course “Taste of Iceland” meal and it was amazing! Perch, Lobster, Salmon and Lamb roast. All was prepared to perfection and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Great place!

Magnus is the best! When in Reykjavik, you must stop by his unassuming restaurant across from the Northern Lights and Saga Museums near the wharfs. His buffet is chock full of authentic Icelandic recipes that should not be missed.

This was the best meal I had in Reykjavik. All my friends were telling me not to miss this restaurant, and I'm glad I didn't. The langoustine tacos were melt n your mouth delicious.

I was disappointed to find only about 3/4 seafood dishes on the menu of a seafood grill?! The food was delicious and the service good, but there was nothing particularly special about this place and was probably the least impressive restaurant we ate in during...More

In 2010 a young chef from Húsavík, was awarded Chef of the year 2010 in Iceland. The young chef, Gústav spent months traveling around Iceland looking for the real taste of Iceland, along the way he found a few things that are key items of the interior of the restaurant.Take a look at our menu, it will be our pleasure to fire up the old grill when you honor us with a visit.
