We have enjoyed Lamb Street Food each time we’ve eaten there, but tonight was especially great. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I felt like it was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had. I would love to thank her for her hospitality, and let her know she’s doing a great job! Not to mention, the food is always really tasty and fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We walked a bit the first time we came here and it was definitely worth it. The service was super friendly and the food pretty good (maybe just a tad too salty for my taste). The portions were generous so it's a good deal when you take into account how expensive Reykjavik is. After our 10 day road trip around Iceland we came back a second time and it was just as good !

We popped in here for a quick lunch. The two young women who work there made us feel like we were the only reason they are open. They are friendly and entertaining. We each had a different dish and shared. The ingredients were fresh and the sauces all made in store. It is across the street from the maritime museum so quite handy as well. We as t to go back again just to talk with the staff

Well worth a walk over to the harbour area to find this place. It was full when we arrived and the staff did seem a bit rushed/flustered but we hung on and ate at a small corner table rather than in the main area which was fine. The food was excellent - really fresh and tasty. The name of the place doesn't really do it justice as the variety on offer was good too. Great wraps, flatbreads and salads. Some imaginative combinations too. Our mistake was over ordering. Given the size of the mains, the mezze platter we'd ordered to share between us went untouched. Fortunately, we were able to box it up (ourselves) and take it away, and was enough for light light the following day. As with everywhere in Reykjavik, alcohol is super expensive but this place does some good non-alcoholic alternatives (and this from a beer lover). 5/5 for the food. 3/5 for service. It's counter service and we seemed like a bit of an inconvenience when they were busy. Came in at £100 (4 mains, 4 drinks and the extra mezze). Would definitely return.

thanks for the very nice feedback, sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service as this is one of the important asset of our business, to give our very best in service every day. Maybe good to keep in my mind that we are a street food place, not a restaurant as such and this reflects in our prices as well, which for our part of the world are good value for money.

I was walking in area with friends and we all decided to eat in different places. All meals were promised for 10 minutes. When I went to get my order I was told they needed another 30 minutes as a big order came in. They refused to make my one order before the large order. I have no idea about the quality of food because I left after getting a refund. Shame on them

My wife and I found this place while wandering around in a major storm that hit Iceland in early December. We raise and milk Icelandic sheep in the States as well as eating them. Icelandic lamb is some of the best meat we’ve had and that includes the elk and deer we harvest in the American West. Oddly, though Iceland is reknown for its sheep, we had trouble finding a place serving lamb. When we saw the big sign LAMB over the door, we hoped this was the place to eat as well as shelter from the 50 mph plus winds buffeting Reykjavík. This cozy, friendly restaurant turned out to be just what we wanted. The lamb was delicious and priced right. In addition, the owner, Rita, was very knowledgeable about the sheep industry in Iceland. So, if you like lamb or even if you haven’t in the past, give LAMB a try. I give this restaurant two thumbs up.

Quirky restaurant with very friendly staff. We had custom built flat breads, basically you chose your salads, and there is a great choice, then do you want lamb or falafel, add your sauces, all go into a huge flat bread. It gets rolled and sealed and hey presto you have a huge portion of fresh delicious ingredients that you know you like because you selected them.

Went here after searching before we went to Reyjavik. This place was near our hotel. I could only have the salad and kebab meat as being gluten free, but it was amazing, I could choose what salad, and it was plentyiful, with 3 different sauces and the lamb came separate. Hubbies wrap was huge and he said tasty too. To the managment, please get some gluten free wraps!!!

We had an excellent experience at LAMB. Food was very tasty and rich. And the servings perfect in size, though it was very busy the kitchen handled the situation very well. There was no rushing us out when they were about to close, just offered us a drink while they finished cleaning the place. The owner gave us intreresting information about some of the drinking options on the menu, so we left really happy.

This was definitely the tastiest and most reasonably priced restaurant we went to in Reykjavik. Good IPA style beer. Very friendly staff. The only gripe is that the lamb they make so much of was nearer to "Donner"meat than what we were expecting or it would have been 5*

The food here was very tasty, a sort of Icelandic twist on Middle Eastern kebabs. Here's the thing - we arrived on a busy Friday night, and our order was actually forgotten. We weren't too worried at first, we had our drinks and were chatting but then after a little while we looked at each other and started saying "How long has it been since we ordered?... Did that couple that have their food order after us?" The staff had I think just realised about the same time and to be fair one of them came over to us just before I was going to go up and ask about our meals... they gave us a free drink each to apologise. So a slight delay but even then nothing outrageous and the food was so good that it made up for it, and they were very apologetic about it. Also worth saying that although I and my companion had lamb, there were many good vegan and veggie options on the menu (not something I saw a lot of in other Icelandic restaurants!).

Thank you so much for your super friendly feedback in spite of the delay, that was very generous of you. Really happy you enjoyed our food :) Although we have the best staff in Reykjavik, sometimes things just get a little lost in translation :)

Excellent food. The three of us chose Lambaroni, Svai's special and I had Leader sheep. The different flavours (we all had a bit of each others) we amazing. Great portions, in fact even our "food hoover' of an 18 year old son struggled to finish his so consider ordering one less and sharing?. The restaurant was quiet 5..30 pm on a Monday (we had to eat early that night) , staff were friendly and our food was prepared freshly. Plenty of Veg options too. We had a couple of Boli beers (which although dearer than UK) were not extortionate. Would highly recommend for an extremely tasty reasonably priced meal. Thank you, we were impressed.

We ate at some really lovely, high end places in Reykjavik but specifically sought out Lamb Street for the price point and the different flavors. And we were SO happy we did. Honestly just good food, different flavors compared to what else you'll get in town, and cute casual interior. The Icelandic lamb (which is not gamey and somehow super delicate) and the middle eastern and Mediterranean accents (bright flavors like pomegranate seeds and all the house-made skyr-based sauces) complement each other so well. And you don't have to drop crazy money to experience it. And don't let the name "street food" mislead you. If you eat in, your order arrives plated. Perfect for anyone who takes a picture of their meal before they eat it... The location isn't on the main strip but isn't that out of the way either. If you're near the Saga Museum, heading to the Whale Museum, or considering Grandi Matholl this is right in that area. I would cross the whole city for their food though.

Chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel after a long day trip. The food was good and plentiful. Very relaxed atmosphere. You have to order your food at the counter, rather than table service, but the staff were helpful in explaining the dishes.
