Second time visiting this lovely restaurant and I couldn’t recommend it more. The service is always very attentive and respectful (following covid rules as many others should). They have an amazing value lunch meal with fresh ingredients and a lovely sunny terrace with some background...music at lunch time!More

We went to the restaurant on a Monday evening, because this was one of the few restaurants, in which a couple of people already had sat. The atmosphere was really nice. A quite talented man played the guitar, which created a romantic mood. The food...was lovely and the waitress was quite friendly. Even the prices were okay - dish (fish) of the evening for 10 Euros.More

This was an unexpected find whilst we were wandering around the Alfama district. We were drawn in by the front terrace which was lively and animated and the chalk board advertised a set menu of the day with choices at a reasonable price. We chose...the sardines and potato which came with a fresh and tasty side salad. The sardines were done in a very interesting way with a touch of coriander. Delicious. A botte of white Vale das Eguas from nearby Setubal, recommended by the waiter, who was friendly and knowledgeable, acccompanied the meal. Would highly recommend.More

One of the best places in Lisbon with delicious food and amazing service. We had fantastic fish and pasta. The waiter and the owner were so nice to us. I actually never experienced such customer service: I was with two kids and on the way...home left my newborn’s carrier. We said thank you, waiter helped me to get to taxi and we have left. In two minutes on the streetlight stop somebody knocked in the window - it was the owner who took newborn carrier and followed us on his motorcycle. I couldn’t believe. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back when we are again in Lisbon! Nice and caring people!More

We stopped by while walking through Alfama. The place is lovely. I had the pasta with bacon and my husband had the octopus (which he loved!). The presentations were gorgeous. My pasta was absolutely wonderful! In fact, the portion I took home also made a...tasty leftover the next day. Weeks later, I find myself thinking about that dish and wishing I could have it again. The interior is very intimate and the service was exceptional! I look forward to eating here again!More

We had a very good lunch of cod (of course!) which was well prepared and delicious. The soup was excellent as well, very flavourful and nicely presented with fresh herbs. Great service.

We only decided to have diner here in passing, as from the outside it looked decent enough. But the hidden qualities of this place surprised us for all the right reasons. The experience and the food turned out to be closer to higher-end ‘restaurant’. Thankfully,...the pretentious elements and breath-taking prices that seem to come with that territory were not included. A varied and interesting menu had an Asian influence in parts. The duck was to die for – good choice on the night – and the portions were very generous for the price. The chef surpassed herself; taste, technique and presentation were all unbelievably good. Personally thanking her for a memorable meal was the least we could do. Le Petit Café could easily pitch itself higher up the ‘food chain’. Don’t do it, because you’ve got a surprisingly good product just right. Keep it that way.More

Good position to watch the teams and tuk tuks go by in the old town of Alfama. Food very good and well presented. Good wine choice. All in all a great relaxing lunch.
