Last night in Lisbon we decided to visit a live Fedo music... found this restaurant and at about 9.30 we went in. The waiter asked what we wanted and when I answered “a couple of drinks”, he made a face, looked at his watch and...More
The food isn't amazing, but it is easily worth the money. It's standard bar food and beer and some great amateur fado. The only reason why I wouldn't rate the experience 5 stars is that it gets so stuffy in the place due to how...More
Great fado experience, glad we were able to see it during our time in Lisbon. Crowed yet enjoyable. One of the few fado's where you can come and go in 15 - 20 minute intervals and stand at the bar. Talented performers.
Tasca do Chico is one of those places that you don’t even want to tell to anyone because you want to have it all to yourself! This is my must visit place every time in Lisbon and one of the best fado places in town....More
We went there for dinner and live fado. The fado was exceptional! Very emotional, atmospheric and felt genuine. 4 different singers where changing throughout the night. Each excellent in its own way! I suppose this is the best true authentic fado experience you can have...More

Enjoy a cocktail, discover a jazz club, hit the dance floor or simply grab a beer and catch up with your friends in the street: Bairro Alto, Bica and Cais do Sodré are the core of it all. Amazing rooftops, restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries, museums and theaters abound. Start off by admiring the river from the Santa Catarina belvedere, have a cocktail at PARK's rooftop bar, try a typical Portuguese steak, or
the fresh grilled fish, at Príncipe do Calhariz, and later explore the dozens of streets full of bars and clubs! Whether you're visiting for a day or a whole week, make sure you visit Bairro Alto and its surroundings.
