Visited Angelo Betti today with the family, first dinner out after a long, long COVID19 break. What a treat @ Angelo Betti's! They really, really make an Italian pizza - thin crust, tasteful dough, prepared and made with focus and love. Served by professionals who...know etiquette ( ladies first) and entertain their guests. Pizza was too hard, crust burnt. Ice cream reasonable but nothing special. Service peculiar but had some italian charme.
Without doubt the worst pizza I have ever come across in my life. I ordered the quattro stagioni after first checking with the owner that the base was made fresh. When it came out in under 5 minutes I knew right away something was wrong....As you can see from the picture some salami and ham seems to have been cooked on the base which was obviously not fresh and then the mushrooms, green peppers and olives were just thrown on top and perhaps heated for a couple of minutes in the oven. The owner said the vegetables were fresh which they seemed to be and offered to cook it for a few more minutes. When it came back it was just a slimy inedible mess and the entire topping stood off the pizza at the first cut. I gave up, offered to pay for my beer, which was declined by the apologetic owner, and left. The 1952 founding family must be turning in their graves.More
lost in the city of rotterdam, tried something outside the tourist-zone. and did we got a pleasant suprise or what? authentic pizza gothfatherstyle in a really laid back atmosphere. maybe because we were very early? no idea, just delicious pizza and staff that did their...job with a smile. no need to find another pizzaplace when we visit rotterdam again. no wonder these italian guys exist already since the 80-ies. respectMore
I can totally recommend this place - everything is really tasty, made with quality ingredients and it is very authentic. It is a small family business founded by an Italian family from the Puglia region, so this can assure you they know how to make...good pizza! Prices are a bit high, but the portions are huge so you will get very full! Overall I can say it is one of the best Italian places in Rotterdam.More
Tasty pizzas, gorgeous ice cream and great service. I tried the Monte Blanco and it was sumptuous. My wife tried the Amico(fish) and it was too salty
It’s my Dutch brother’s fav restaurant in Rotterdam where u hv to wait to be seated so u can enjoy ur wine apperitif and catch up on events, personal and worldly. It’s so easy to make pizza Angelo’s way: one pizza for all, a pizza...margarita then when out of the oven which u can see from where u sit, then anything u order as topping is put on after it’s out of the oven, so if you order prosciutto pizza, the prosciutto remains uncooked and taste as is (the way ur come to savor it), unlike all the pizzas in the US where the toppings are put on then the pie is baked. It’s just the way Angelo does it, very creative and simple and allows him to serve everybody so quick as his restaurant is jam-packed with returning customers that he greets personnaly. No wonder he’s liked, even though he doesn’t smile !!!!! Yet he gives u the indication of someone cmtented to see u again and again.More
After few years with friends we decided to return to this place.It was definitely the wrong decision - as the pizza was below the expectations and the ingredients did not look as fresh as expected. Definitely not a tasty nor Italian pizza!
Went in here at 8.30pm on a Tuesday night on my own, as was staying in a nearby hotel. Was made to feel welcome and could choose a table. Service was with a smile from a pleasant Italian man and my pizza and glass of...red wine were served quickly. Pizza was a good size with fresh toppings, cooked to perfection, good price and it tasted delicious! I haven't had pizza this good in a long long time, felt like I was in Italy!More

Real italian pizza’s in Rotterdam. Pizza are on the big side but you can always ask for a box to take the remaining parts. Taste is very Good and the waiters and cooks are real italians. Service was also very well.
Location was empty at saturay afternoon, but pizza was done in 5 minutes or so. Excellent ice-cream. Pizza melanzana is quite good
Best pizza ive eaten thus far in my 1 month stay in netherlands. Crispy crust with a wide selection. The portion is not too huge like the serving in other restaurants.
The pizza is delicious. Various choices for vegetarians. I had the pizza funghi with mushrooms. The crust was perfect, so was the cheese on it.
Found the critics to be mediocre, so I tried it since we wanted pizza. Pizzas came really quick and mine looked like crap, never been presented a pizza this bad. Too big portions but OK taste
