Went here late at night for dinner after a long day in Central Amsterdam! The food is Tapas style so made to be shared but we tried the following dishes: Fried Calamari, Spinach & Cheese Croquettes, Croquetas de Jamon and Mañana Mañana Ribs. Would recommend...all of the above. The food was delicious!More

Excellent tapas in a nice outdoor location overlooking the canal. Food is varied and interesting with good service and a decent wine menu. Loved the cheese and Pedro Ximenez to finish with…

An all time favourite of mine, Pikoteo never disappoints. Everytime we bring friends there for the first time they are wowed. The menu changes and keeps up with the mad creativity of chef Miguel Martín Gómez who is always coming up with the most flavourful...and delicious dishes that are never predictable. The atmosphere is always lively and the service is great. Their cocktail menu is also not to be missed.More

We are thrilled to discover this fine restaurant with superb food, a really nice, friendly atmosphere, an owner who takes a personal interest in your well-being and serves you himself. Every item we tried was very tasty and quite original. We can't wait to go...back.More

Not my first time visiting, but it’s been a couple of years I think. It was actually better than I remembered it last time. Outdoor seating is available across the road from the restaurant with a view beside the water. Plenty of parking spaces around...the place too. The food is pretty good, tapas style but with a twist on classics such as patatas bravas and octopus tentacle. Portions are expected, but if you’re quite hungry I suggest you double down on some things. Cocktail menu was also good, as was the service from the British waiter.More

Travelling for business and the hotel recommended I try Pikoteo - they were really helpful (don't often have single diners) but gave me some great recommendations on how many plates I might need and what was good on the menu. I had the calamari and...the botanical salad - absolutely magnificent.More

Was recommended highly by locals. And is worth the visit. All menu options are small and perfect for sharing. Loved most of them, but not all. Some OK wines (but don't expect perfection there). Rather big check in the end. Verdict: well, maybe again, one...day, when there's nothing better.More

We had an amazing experience for New Year’s Eve. The food was delicious (both vegetarian and “normal” menu) the service was great. Both Florian and Miguel approached us a couple of times to make sure everything was fine. Thanks again!

Very casual dining venue by the canal. Apparently very popular, lots of people turned up hoping to find space, international crowd. Creative menu, enthusiastic staff, we loved/liked everything we tried. Seafood (squid, tuna tartare, scallops) were excellent; lovely croquetas and patatas bravas. Good value for...money, interesting wine list.More

This place left us extremely disappointed. We came in at 2pm and they told us we had to sit inside because there was a large group coming. No problem for us. So we sat down and we had to wait 20 mins to have menus...and order, we were hungry but still no major deal. Then the waitress came and asked what we wanted, I said “so we want this as starter and...”. She ROLLED HER EYES and said we had to order all at once because of the group coming (she did not say this when we asked for the table). So we only ordered starters (charcuterie and croquettes). When she brought them we asked for bread and she said “I have no time for that”. Then she brought it but she was visibly annoyed. So we rushed our lunch and I asked for the bill. Guess what? NO DISCOUNT, NO APOLOGY. Food was mediocre at best and vastly overpriced: 29€ for being treated like we were in the army is pure scam. No mas Note: no high chair for kids.More

We ate here and the bread and cheese were amazing, very nice. However, 3 of the 6 dishes we ordered were tasteless (this excludes the bread and cheese), we had to send back the lamb because it was cold and overcooked, also lacked seasoning. The...potatoes were boring and the tacos had potential but again tasted like nothing. Thankfully the sent back dishes were taken off the bill. Service was also slow for our liking. Setting is nice thoughMore

Beautiful, restful ambiance at sunset. Attentive service. Novel presentation of various dishes (see the Caeser salad) and the food was uniformly fabulous.
