fantastic spot to sit outside with classic views of the canals. I could sit there all day drinking beer and eating Bitterballen (in fact we nearly did ;)). Will definitely visit again.

Came here for a Bavaria while we waited for our entrance time to the Anne Frank House. Nothing special about the setting or the service, but it's conveniently located and a decent option if you're looking to enjoy a casual drink outside.

Great location and a friendly greeting. Expect singalongs where the whole pub joins in. One guy walked in and asked if it was a private party. It has that kind of atmosphere.

Nice retreat by the canal. Fantastic service and fantastic snacks. It's situated between the Tulip and cheese museums. The bitter balls are a cheesy meaty delight!

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
