Friendly staff. Good and tasty food. Portions are not abundant. Prices are very reasonable considering that you are in Amsterdam Centraal Station (trains). Sometimes good deals with Fork/Forque/Iens. Don't be startled by the white parrot. Fun and harmless. Beautiful building.

Very attentive staff. Good choice on the menu. Food served quickly. Good food and nicely presented. Excellent wine. Appeared to be busy not only with travellers but with locals too. Great atmosphere and good to see the live parrot on the bar taking it all...More

When you just arrived in Amsterdam by train, just have a coffee and a piece of pie before you head off in to the city. It's a great place to start your day.

Took advantage of current 50% off deal to take a Dutch friend to lunch before I boarded the train back to London. We had attentive, sort of warm service, and the cold fish platter and fried sole with frites we shared were truly excellent. Cockatoo...More

While the premises look shiny and cosy, and the beer is very good for a train station business, the organization is quite chaotic and most of the waiters (not all, fortunately) are totally apathetic and couldn't care less for seating or serving people when they're...More

We met some Amsterdamer friends here for a chat and an afternoon drink. The service was ok. The waiting service could do to be friendly but it’s okay, fast in attending to its patrons. I loved the resident white cockatoo which was very lovely to...More

There is a new automatic locker system near the right entrance door which seems complicated, especially at busy times. You need a ticket or pass to gain entrance. Put your stuff in an open locker (showing green) then shut... More
