If you’ve read my reviews you will know I don’t give 5 stars very often! This restaurant however Deserves every plaudit! It’s a Basque restaurant with some fantastic fish dishes however the fact the staff are Dutch gives a great mix to the atmosphere- plus...More

One of my favorite restaurants. The tapas are exciting and fantastic. The staff is really amazing. They like each other and take incredible car3 of the guests. I go here every time I visit Amsterdam. Thanks again to Jasper. Can’t wait to return.

Very welcoming and very friendly service. A wide variety of tapas and main courses and my choices were delicious, and I'm pretty confident that the other choices would have been just as good. A good list of Spanish wines on offer - the Ribera de...More

We dropped by La Oliva because the restaurant we were looking for had already moved. As we were hungry, we decided to settle for a Spanish lunch. The lady maitre d’ was very accommodating and friendly. Pintxos were already on display and we got the...More

I’m not sure wha the expectation level was of the disgruntled reviewer. Our experience was the opposite - friendly, good service and quality Tapas like food. Small plates is a feature not a criticism. The average price of a dish (pintxos) was a very reasonable...More

The host was rude and we waited 20 minutes to be given menus. The plates are flavourful but quite small. Generally, overpriced for no apparent reason.

Everything was fine, price to quality as well. There is a nice atmosphere and owners pay attention to decor and music. Nice tapas place.

We shared some tapas for a quick bite for lunch! Nice ambiente and delicious food. We were a bit in a hurry and as the waiter noticed, he excused for the waiting time and offered some toast with tomato and ham on the house. Great...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
