They have the reservation online with the Fork with the 50% discount, but you can’t use it. When you arrive to the restaurant they say that the discount is only on Monday, but the restaurant is closed on Monday!!!

What a great experience in Maastricht. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, even though the inside and outside were packed to the rafters, they had time to ensure each person was well looked after. The food was also really tasty and we had...a great meal here.More

Near Vrijthof (center of town) this ‘brown café’ is a very nice place to go for a drink, lunch or dinner. Service is good, food is good and prices are very reasonable. You do have to have some time, because it took some time to...get our main plate. Not for a ‘quick meal’ , I’d say.More

If you are a sensible person you will not step inside this place. We were sitting in the restaurant, almost closing and the owner screamed at us, rushed us out og was so incredibly unpolite. When I asked why he had to be so rude...he called his friends and they threatened me, tried to take my phone because i was filming this outrageous reaction. I am unable to upload the video. TRUST ME...GO SOMEWHERE ELSEMore

Where to eat in Maastricht? With seemingly hundreds of choices we picked De Dikker Dragonder as it was in a quieter street and there were only a few tables outside unlike the crowded squares. Good selection of beers and the meals we ordered were all...delicious. Couldn't fault the service either.More

Swung by Maastricht early evening on the way back home after a Euro road trip. Chose De Dikke Dragonder for our last supper and we were not disappointed. Great location, decor and atmosphere. Staff really welcoming, polite and efficient. Great range of beer!

We walked in around lunchtime and were lucky to get a table. It is small and cosy inside. Very friendly staff and the food was quickly served, good sized portions and tasty. They also have dinner options. Next time we are in Maastricht we will...surely go back.More

The waiter took more than 20 min to get our order. Then we had to wait for 30 min to have bread and butter... the waiter was not polite at all! And on top of that, the restaurant is not dog friendly... Such a shame....I strongly do not recommend that restaurantMore

The menu was not in English so the young man interpreted it for us. It turned out to be meatballs. What a delicious meal it was. The rich gravy (or should that be jus) was amazing. This had to be one of the better dinners...that we had on our 6 weeks in Europe. It made you want to eat more even though you knew you were full. The service was great and the cost reasonable.More
