For whoever is looking for a place with the combination of good food and a nice environment, then I would certainly recommend la Bodega! They sell really tasty Spanish tapas! I have been multiple times and will continue going!😁
Used to really like this place. But during recent visits we were less satisfied. This one was especially bad. Poor service, the papas arrugadas arrived with cocktail sauce with the comment that that the spicy sauce would arrive later which it never did. No inquiry...for further drinks or coffee.More
Upon arrival, we made a reservation, we were seated on the top floor of the restaurant, alone. After 15a20 minutes of not seeing a waiter and other guests on this floor we went back down and asked for a different table, which was possible. We...ordered some drinks and several plates of tapas. The quality of the ingredients was good, but preparation and servingstyle lack passion and affection. If there was more creativity the rating, as the atmosphere in the restaurant, would reach 5 stars. Good place to visit with friends.More
Went out not having any reservation, looking in town for a place to have dinner. Passing by we saw La Bodega and the menu looked interesting so we gave it a try.
Was pretty crowded and could only get a table in the back of...the restaurant which is not as privileged as being close to the action near the main area...
Had various tapas and a bottle of red wine. More than enough to eat and drink for two, paid 75 E, reasonable for the wine & food we ordered.
Looking at the rest of the menu I would call it a bit overpriced for what it offers, despite the fact that indeed various hamons deserve their price.
Service was Ok, nothing exceptional but professional and polite.
Was our first tapas restaurant in Maastricht so can't compare with any other similar rest in town, but overall I do not think taste wise anybody would be disappointed.More
