My friend Lynn and i travelled to Tuscany for a long weekend. We spotted a lovely restaurant in Pisa, in a small side street. We didnt have a reservation but the waiter went to see if we could have a table. People came after us...but couldnt be seated as the restaurant was full. The menu was in Italian but the waiter was very helpful in translation. I told him that i had an allergy to onions and garlic, unfortunate for Italian cuisine. The waiter asked if it was an intolerance or an allergy. So attentive to get me really good, greatly presented food. Everything was wonderful, food, waiter and ambience. Thank you.More

This place was recommended to us by the owners of the great accommodation we stayed in at Laurie Loft. It was off the main tourist drag and was clearly popular with the locals who were popping in for take outs... always a good sign lol...They had a booking coming in so really didn't have room as its a bit small but they were happy to accommodate us as long as we could be clear in an hour, that suited us perfectly as we don't like to hang around anyhow. Great Pizza, nice beer and tasty desert.. the only thing I couldn't find was a salad bowl which I wanted for the table (hence 4 stars) but do you know what... it wasn't that important... its just I like a 'table' salad to share when eating... but they did pizza... and they did it very well.. and it was very good value at about 35 euros for two of us...More

Went to this small restaurant on a recommendation, hard to find and easy to walk past, but make the effort and you will not be disappointed, book a table or go early ( doesn't open until 1945 hours), the menu is all in Italian but...the owner/waiter will happily answer all your questions and recommend the best wine to go with your meal. The pasta dishes are amazing but the deserts are to die for, two main courses, two deserts and a top quality bottle of wine and a bottle of water came to 49 euros!! Highly recommended.More

The place is really nothing fancy, we actually thought it was closed when we arrived. The only waiter was really helpful and kind, although his English was poor and the menus are only in Italian. However we managed to order everything (including allergies). There was...vegetarian and gluten-free options, although no gluten-free pasta. The food was really tasty and nicely presented, however, if you are hungry, the portions are small so I’ll recommend ordering more than just a main course. In the end they gave us lemon sorbet for free. Would mostly recommend it for the the experience and the genuine Italian feeling.More

Absolutely stunning food and with a taste that matches the view! Only pictures of the mains but I can thoroughly recommend the sharing starters. A wonderful find away from the tourist trails. Word of warning the menu is in Italian so it was a bit...of a guess picking but that was half the fun!More

We had four meals in Pisa and this was the best. Small resturant off the beaten track, we were the only non-Italians. The waiter was excellent, wine good and the food very good, as was the atmosphere
