It’s always a pity for me to write a negative review, cause it remembers me of bad meal... The quality of the meat seemed good (can’t complain), but the first two tagliatas we ordered arrived cold, but medium (as ordered). It’s not subjective... the thin...lardo on top didn’t melt... so it indeed was cold. We informed the waitress and very gently she decided to take back the plates and cook us other two steaks. 10 minutes later other two tagliatas arrived.. this time they were warm, but well done... a clear sign that they warmed up our old steaks. The waitress started arguing with me about what “medium” means. We paid and left without hearing a “good bye” from her. Absolutely not recommended! we had a dinner with friend and was a great experience, Good wine, amazing pasta (we tried tagliatelle with lard and black cabbage and pici with wild board sauce) the fiorentina we had after was great. Only point with all those great things we remain...a little disappointed with the quality of "vin santo" served with cantuccini biscuits. Service was good and attentiveMore

I went with my partner looking for an last amazing experience with my favorite culinary dish and we were really disappointed with this place. I ordered the tagliatelle with porcini, it was if I was eating pieces of soil and I couldn’t eat it the...flavor for a porcini was really poor. My partner had Gigli al Ragu and it was dry and the meat was undercooked, at least the house wine was good. At the end when we asked for the bill there was no discount offered. Staff were average.More

Very fun atmosphere, tucked back in a sweet little neighborhood. Food was amazing, wine was delicious, service was great.

Firstly we did not have a reservation but we had none at any other places in out holiday. They did accommodate us. They were busy and we were seated near the outside with no fan it was 30 degrees, so quite hot. After taking orders...of beef and spaghetti/ pasta a bowl of dry bread was dumped on table by waitress walking past. No olive oil, balsamic vinegar etc was given or asked. The spaghetti dish which was supposed to be tomato, garlic,chilli and olive oil had no taste of garlic or olive oil. It was one of the worst basic tomato spaghetti eaten. The beef fillet €25 was not cooked to how we requested and was placed on a stale bread. It was tasteless. The other breaded cod and plain chick peas were equally tasteless. Food aside It felt as if they couldn't be bothered if we were there or not. Not once did anyone ask if everything was ok, only at end after dinner we were asked and if we wanted desserts. We decided not to have dessert. I was recommended a couple of restaurants by the hotel we were staying at - this one for meat ( it didn't live up to any expectations) and another restaurant for Fish (that turned out to be fantastic even though they were busy and we went with no booking). Based On this experience we cannot recommend this restaurant.More

We got 2 pasta from the menu. The appearance of the dish was awful, the amount of pasta too little for the price (9 euros) and the quality was mediocre. Also, they charged us 1 euro for the water that was "from the machine" (it...was tap water) and 2 euros per person for 3 slices (total) of old bread. The wine was good and they have a wide variety (hence the 2 stars). Overall a bad experience, not worth it if you plan on eating dinner/lunch, maybe ok if you go only for the wine.More

Don't ask: it was terrible; worse than school food, and cold, unfriendly service. We didn't understand why it had any good reviews. We eat better Italian food at fifty places in London. Go elsewhere.More
