We, a couple and three teenagers plus our little dog, have been attracted by the description on Tripadvisor of this Japanese restaurant in Miramare Rimini. It was the day of the Sushi menu (this alternates) and so it was time for us to make a...reservation. After quite some searching for a parking place we finally arrived. The place is not big and offers outside as well as inside seating possibilities. There is even a presidential corner - an evelated privee seating area outside. The ambience is quite particular and I guess mirrors the owner's style and gusto. To us it made quite a Japanese impression which we found appealing. Just to clear this right from the start. This is not the typical commercial pseudo sushi place all-you-can-eat chinese restaurant. The owner is Japanese and is quite proud of personally preparing, presenting and explaining his food creations. The incredients are clearly of high quality, e.g. the fish he uses. As for us we enjoyed the particular atmosphere as well as the particular food. It is clear however that this cuisine is not for everyone. It is for palates that are open to experience a particular and maybe original version of sushi and where quality is preferred over quantity. The sushi menu also contains sahimi presented in a glass bowl. As most of us are not sashimi lovers this has not met our liking. The proposed drinks (wine and micro brew beer, liquors) were just too strong for us. As already mentioned this all has its price and so we left with a bill of 230€ roughly for 5 x sushi menu, drinks and desert.More
