We stopped by for a slice of potato onion pizza. Probably had corn meal in the crust. Wonderful warm. Owner is fourth generation and very friendly. Cannot be beat for a traditional place in a great small town

A small old wood oven in the center of Campobasso, from a long tradition of bakers and pizza makers ("Bread makers heirs of Palazzo family" literally). Prepare to stand on a line in a small street, fortunately not plagued by the august heat, but it's...definitely worth it. They make thick, tasty pizzas with a small selection of flavours: pomodoro or alici are the best ones, even though zucchini one is also very good. They also make biscuits and traditional fiadoni (dough balls filled with cheese).More

A gem in the heart of old town in a historic part of the city. Winding, hilly brick paved roads with timeless architectural structures of the past adorn this pizza location. Thanks to my dear friend Antonio a local of Campobasso for taking me here,...truly worth a visit for any traveler.More

Hey Guys, the name : Palazzo, identify a big family in Campobasso. This family produce Pizza, bread, some dessert, biscuits, and so on. The family is pretty huge, and there are several bakery around Campobasso. This bakery is in the old town; located just 5...meters from "San Leonardo church (chiesa) (the church in front of you, turn right). Pizza with tomato or with mozzarella are astonishing. Remember to drink a cold beer and relax, take it easy and listen Campobasso old town. My suggestion: buy a slice of pizza, buy a beer and sit down in front of the Church or on the stairs beside the church. Enjoy Campobasso - Italy. Cheers Achille.More
