Booked 5 days in advance. Sat at the table and... Having said that we want dessert, we were refused service, citing the fact that this is a restaurant and you cannot order only dessert in it ... Complete negative. I do not recommend to anyone...

Ci spiace, ma questa persona non ha mai mangiato da noi. La recensione non dovrebbe essere approvata da Tripadvisor.

Dinner for 14 - a family gathering that was 3 years in the making and Taverna 58 was the perfect spot to be! Small, intimate, amazing service and exquisite food! So good that we went back again a few nights later.
Good service. Nice ambiance. Delicious food. Reasonably priced. You must have the Zabaglione dessert, which is prepared in front of you and is delicious. I would definitely go back if in Pescara.
Welcome with a gentle staff. The location is good. The food was great with genuine portions. Very well served recommended 👌🏼 Nice experience.
Taverna 58 is a must visit for any food lover visiting Pescara and Abruzzo. Located in the heart of Pescara's old town, it is a hidden gem that - I am sure - will blow you away. The menu, focused on Abruzzo's meat and vegetarian...(+ baccala) historical cuisine, is a sophisticated mix of traditional recipes and innovation. The staff takes care of you in an incredibly professional way, offering you a truly unforgettable experience. If the restaurant's main salon offer a glimpse of how traditional, brick houses from the old Pescara used to look like, you should ask the maitre to show you Taverna 58's legendary wine cellar, which includes remains from the ancient Roman Empire and medieval ages.More
This was one of my best food and dining experiences in the 18 days of Italy. It came highly recommended by our hotel and was WELL worth the 20 minute walk. We enjoyed local dishes and wine at an extremely affordable price! I would make...a point to go back any time I am back in Pescara!More
Highly recommend a visit to Taberna 58 if you are in Pescara. Location is great in the old town section of Pescara. Service is warm and very patient with those of us who do not speak Italian. And the food is delicious. My friend got...a chitarra dish with mushrooms followed by cinghiale (wild boar) that was fall-off-the-fork tender. I had a spaghetti with ceci (chickpeas) and fish and polpatte (local specialty - egg and ricotta balls/custards) and they were also delicious. We were too full for dessert, but we were so tempted and I imagine they are just as good as everything else we had. Can’t recommend enough. Go and enjoy!!!More
Pescara was heavily bombed during WWII and is by no means a charming seaside city. We found Taverna 58 randomly. It’s in a funky part of town with a lot of niche restaurants. It’s locally sourced, the ambience is fun and the food is excellent....I started with the snails in spicy sauce and my three companions shared the Abruzzo antipasto platter. For someone whose experience with snails was with garlic and butter, actually tasting the snail was a pleasant revelation. Then I had the pasta with tomato and prosciutto sauce. It was delightfully light. We had the house Montepulciano di Abruzzo which was a good bargain at €10/bottle. One of my companions had pasta with mushrooms and truffles, the other had the veal roast. The pasta dish was very good, the veal could have used a tastier accompaniment but was nicely cooked. All in all, a great find.More
It’s that kind of place that smells amazing and immediately makes you feel welcome. Cosy, relaxed, and very welcoming staff. Food tastes as good as it smells. Really recommend it!
Everything about this Restaurant is truly great. The ambience is tasteful and engaging, the service flawless, the food so good that I would consider flying to Pescara just to spend an evening here, dining. The menu is perfectly balanced between offering various choices but not...getting lost in them. The wine menu is well appointed. For anybody looking for a taste of Abruzzo dishes and dining culture this is a must and what a dining culture it is. Just 'Grande'.More
I've lived in Italy for more than 6 years, and I've gotten to travel to many different regions around the country. Italy is known for its wonderful cuisine, and although it is true that you can have an amazing meal almost anywhere throughout the country,...there are places that reach another level. I can count with the fingers of one hand the number of restaurants that I've been to in my life that left a profound mark on my memory, and this is one of them. This is a place I will certainly recommend, and I hope to eat there again in the future. Not only because of the amazing food but because of the atmosphere, the AMAZING staff, and the quality of the service; but simply because I want to try the rest of the menu.More
