This place is very small and old-fashioned. Cocido was amazing: the soup, the chickpea and all kinds of meat were served separately, all so delicious! The service was friendly and attentive, made it feels like home!

Cocido is a tradicional Madrileño lunch which is like a kind of stew. A broth with fine noodles is served at first (bottomless), then vegetables and chickpeas, then, finally the selection of meats (beef, pork, ham, morcilla, chorizo, bone marrow....). Everything is cooked in the...More

I received such a warm welcome when I entered! The food was amazing and it was worth every penny. It definitely was a lot but you can take the leftover home. Would recommend if you want to eat like a local :)

Just loads of good quality food. Enjoyed the veggies as much as the meat. Eat conservatively until meat arrives if you can. Wife and I couldn't come close to finishing and we are foodies.

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
