We tried this place across the street from our apartment and it was delicious!!! Iulius was very friendly and knowledgeable on describing all their dishes. We will have to come back to try the rest of their menu on our next trip.

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses

The story behind the first Adjaruli Khachapuri goes back to the ancient country of Laz. Living at the Black Sea, under the slopes of Caucasus, the Lazs were mostly sailors and fishermen. The boat-shaped bread they baked, was their way of honoring the sea, while the egg they put in the middle, resembled their innermost dream of capturing the sun.
