This was on our list of places to visit - it's inside a converted church so comes with plenty of character. There's a huge array of cakes on offer in the front with a shop and coffee shop through the side/rear. We opted for a...More

Santa Eulalia has an amazing design - even in stylish Madrid this is one of the most beautiful cafes we've seen. The pastries are delicious, use top ingredients and melt in your mouth. I already would like to cone again.

Best French baking in Spain that I've encountered so far. Interesting quiet space inside to sit, relax, and enjoy. Everything high quality.

The restaurant is off the beaten path, but still walking distance from Plaza Mayor. Walk past the bakery and there is a large, sunny room, with sit down service. The menu is perfect for lunch, offering several egg and bread dishes. Also, a nice selection...More

Amazingly excellent bread, zumo de naranja, and pastries in a well-designed space that respects the archeological site. Prices very average for such high-quality food. We love bakeries where they are so proud of their profession that they work behind glass so you can watch the...More
