You will need reservations to eat here. They serve a lot of raw fish, so if you don’t like raw fish, then it might be an issue. You can do a tasting menu or order ala carte. We ordered ala carte. The dishes were all...very good. The salted caramel mousse was outstanding. The waitresses were also great, they gave a detailed presentation of each tapa.More

We had such a lovely dinner here, every dish was fab and we also had some nice wine. Excellent table service, so friendly, knowledgeable and looked after us so well. Definitely make a reservation from their website, it’s a small space. Fine dining with a...reasonable price tag!More

Wonderful restaurant! An amazing 9-course tasting menu with fresh fish (mostly). Attentive waitresses cheerfully explained every dish to me in English. Highly recommended.

Wow! After reading exceptional reviews on this restaurant our expectations were very high but the food went above and beyond this. Such innovative and delicious dishes, every course leaves you stunned. We did the 9 course tasting menu which was divine and outrageously cheap (€40pp...- this type of quality dining would be way over £100 per person in London). Not only was the food incredible but the staff were so lovely too. Victoria was very helpful and informative about each course. It was also great to chat to the friendly main chef who comes up with the menu and prepares it right in front of you! If you are a foodie who enjoys fine dining, this will be your new favourite restaurant! I’ll certainly be coming back when next in Barcelona.More

We went back after 3 years, the menu has changed, more Japanese now than previously. The food was absolutely brilliant. Although they have a tasting menu we chose Alacarte. The Beef Tartare was just mind bogglingly good, as was the fish sashimi, the pork and...the tuna. Amazing quality ingredients, married so beautifully with the Japanese sensibilities that producing just incredibly well balanced dishes. Service is friendly. We will be back for sure!More

I had the tasting menu here and I have to say, it was one of the better dining experiences I've ever had. I was not a big fan of raw fish before eating here, now I can't get enough. Wines were tasty, food was delicious,...small shop but had lots of fun. I would recommend Brugarol to anyone visiting Barcelona. Can't wait to go back.More

Absolutely incredible meal at Brugarol Barcelona. Small, intimate experience, service impeccable, and food phenomenal. One of the best meals we have ever had. Could recommend it more highly.

Food was average, same with the wine. I would normally give a slightly above average rating except we had an issue with the server. When it came time to pay, she told my husband that the tip was not included in the bill. So my...husband asked her to help him with the credit card transaction so we could add a tip. Somehow she’s not paying attention and it’s too late to add. She appears annoyed and angry, so my husband tells me to see if we had any euros left. The bill was 142 euros. I had forty euros so I asked for ten back, unsure of how much we’re suppose to tip given that tips are generally not as high in Europe vs USA. She gives me a very rude reply and says she’s not sure she can get me ten euros back. She eventually comes back with ten euros. Everything I’ve read has said that 10-15% tip is fine for tip, so this waitress giving us attitude when we’d already given her way more than that was really disingenuous. I blame the restaurant for hiring wait staff that would treat customers like this. If you’re a tourist I would avoid this place simply because they hire wait staff with this’ll a bad attitude and have no qualms about treating customers like this.More

We were really privileged to be able to dine at Brugarol which serves some of the finest food. Tasting menu is a must try and every dish is a work of art that takes the taste buds to wonderland. Service was excellent with the staff...explaining every dish and the flavors involved. It shows the pride that the entire team takes in the workMore

I hope it is. It is fantastic. But I live in LA, so I am not sure on their hours. And a side trip to Monserrat is pretty cool
