Wow what to say. We have been lucky enough to dine at top 10 restaurants here in Seville throughout our stay, so to end on La Azotea was amazing, surprising, and such a good way to end. This La Azotea restaurant is in the La Macarena neighbourhood of Seville and proves that not all the best restaurants are in the... More

We went to the Calle Zaragoza La Azotea for dinner, there are three in the city, arrive after 8.30pm and you will probably have to queue. This is a small friendly cafe style tapas bar that does original dishes that we didn't see elsewhere, quality was good, really friendly and no rush even though there were people waiting. English speaker... More

The restaurant was already full when we arrived but staff were very kind and made us stay and sit in the bar and served us our drinks. Everything we selected were very tasty the only tapas I was not happy was the stew duck with potato which I found very salty. Service was excellent and I would go back and... More

We eat regularly at La Azotea and it is one of our favourite restaurants but this time we felt they'd overcooked it and not in the culinary sense. We were taking some friends out to lunch and feeling extremely relaxed and ready to enjoy ourselves. The food was everything we'd promised, the ambience and service were relaxed and friendly as... I arrived with no reservation just as the metal rolling shutters were being lifted at 8 pm. There was already a line of half a dozen people waiting patiently. The tapas were excellent, as I followed the waiter's direction. Creative dishes, attentive waiter, cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Four of us are here and the food was good but we didn't get any wow factor. I'm not saying there was anything wrong but we didn't say we have to go back for any particular dish. The langoustine salad was nice, the Revueltos de la casa were good but we have had them better, the Presa Iberica was our... More

We visited this restaurant twice during lunch ( from 13.30-16.30 h ). The staff is friendly, speaking Spanish and English. All seats reserved for local people, try the place at the bar. We recommend the dishes in "tapa" version-small, cheap and tasty, you can try various dishes. We like octopus, artichoces, fish soup, shrimps.

I was there with my husband on a sunny afternoon and spent around 3-4 hours just tasting dishes from their menu. Literally, it was one of the best food experiences we had in Spain.

We picked the tapas menu with sitting at the bar. Their red wine selection is decent. We had steak, Crockett, smelt and octopus. Octopus was OK but everything else was delicious.

Loved this place, at least the branch on Calle Zaragoza we went to. Come at 830 and take a seat at the bar while you still can and try the tapas. Went here a few times and ate our way through quite a bit of their tapas menu and loved everthing we tried. Super fresh fish and shellfish, super busy... More
